Wow, just came from Best Buy and they had the Tink Mix Max video players on clearance for $10! My friend bought the last 2 for her neices. I also grabbed that little Mickey shaped picture viewer for $4!

Hello Everyone!

We are all good with peanuts here too! Peanuts and peanut butter are a staple in our home!

Got my truck back this morning! Looks great!

Took Colton and I to the eye dr. Man oh man, do I feel like we have been raked over. Colton is in need of bi-focul glasses. The total for that? $544!! Not including both appt fees, a contact lens fitting fee for me...which wasn't really necessary since I have worn contacts for YEARS. I didn't need any help with that. Ugh. I am debating taking Colton to Visionworks or Lens Crafters. I just can't see spending that much for a pair of glasses that he will probably need to replace next year! He's wanting me to try Mono-vision. Wearing one contact lens and using my right eye for distance and my left eye for close up. Not sure I am liking it. I like it for distance, but am having trouble close up. I have 5 lenses to try for a week and see what happends.

Good afternoon all-

Well, we got the word this morning at 5:30 that we did not have to evacuate at 6 am. Thank God it turned out to be nothing. I just have to go unpack everything again. They cancelled school here today. My 2 older ones are loving it. So, their first day will be tomorrow. Chris had his first day yesterday. It was emotional-last one sent off to school.

So, now I can focus on the cruises again. I saw the design for the t-shirts. It looks great. I'll add it to my list that seems to keep growing. Anything else major I missed?

Allen-we're all fine with the peanuts.

Erika! Great price! I didn't even look at that stuff when I went in there yesterday! I was on a mission both times and just breezed through the store! We'll have to go back that way to order Colton's glasses, so I will stop in to see what they have! I love that little photo viewer and would like to have one. Although, I can upload photos to my Zune/MP3 player, so I can just use it too.

Judy, glad to hear you can stay put! That is probably my only concern with the thought of moving to Florida. But I guess if you have a plan, then all is okay!

Kristin, don't let that sore throat go for too long! Have you tried gargling with warm salt water? I know, it's nasty, but it's suppose to work!

When I talked to Steve last night he said that the Boston Red Sox were staying in the same hotel as him! A lot of them on his floor! When he got off the elevator yesterday there was all kinds of security up and down the hall. When I talked to him this morning, I asked if he got any autographs? He said, No, but we partied with them until 3 this morning!! He said he couldn't go into detail, but he would tell me more later. I just checked our bank acct online and there is a pending charge of $150 for the hotel! Do you expect he might have bought a round of drinks last night?? hhmmm????

Checking in for the afternoon. OMG this cruise can't come soon enough. 2 mre days left till my weekend. Hope things get a little easier.

Looked for Hardeeville, SC on Travelocity. There were quite a few hotels that showed up last night when I was looking for Savannah. The only difference would be a cap in the rates of about $125. Instead of the $200+ I was finidng as upper rates for inside the city which we weren't going to stay in anyway. I think most of the hotels listed came up near the Savannah Airport or in that general area.

Well I am sorry to say that it looks like we will not be eatting at the Lady&Sons in Savannah this time around. Was just on the website, and as much as I'd like to go there, the priority seating system will not work out for us I don't think. Though it really does sound as fair as possible.
