We went the first two weeks in October 07 - the crowds were light to moderate. We didnt do MNSSHP as girls are a bit scaredy cats and I thought they were a bit young at 2 and 4.
The MK gets quite busy towards the end of the days that MNSSHP is on, and "normal" Wishes and Spectromagic nights tend to busier too as they are obviously less frequent with MNSSHP being on.
The weather is still very warm but less storms.
EPCOT's food and wine too! (busy at weekends though).
It's a lovely time to go and you sounds like you have a good price too!
We only booked a few weeks beforehand and Flights with Virgin were 1200.00 (midweek) for two adults and two children and we paid 700.00 for 3bed townhouse in Windsorhills - so it can be done on a good budget at that time of year too!

We always go at the beginning of October and the weather is still very warm. We find the crowds much less, only watch out, there is an American public holiday some time at the beginning of October and then the parks tend to fill up. We found this out last year and, as we had not heard of ADRs, we could not get into the Crystal Palace! We were very disappointed. :sad1: Thanks to these DISboards, we have booked all our ADRs for this October. ;)

thanks Sarah for prices at least i will now have an idea of how much they could be for next year. i dont think its a bad price at all.
we are saving hard already as the rest of our deposit is due 1st of june i think the MNSSHP isnt badly priced at all.

thanks again

OK purchased mine last night. I got them for the 28th which is one of the cheaper advanced purchase nights and it was £54 including postage for 2 adults. There was a $6 postage fee I believe. It's $106 dollars I believe for the 2 tickets.
