OK, first things first, being home SUCKS! I have been battling the being home depression while being incredibly busy with all my jobs, oh well, I'm calling next week to get rates for May 08', gotta start now.
Anyway, I'll do my best with this trip report, after reading the detail of Highlander's and Jodie's, I feel like a trip reporting putz! But I'll do what I can.
This is Day 5, Tuesday October 23rd. Today has been deemed USF and IOA only day. We were pretty burned out from our long day at Epcot the day before, so we slept a little later than I wanted to. We are still off site at a condo, so I want to get to the parks early, but then again, this time of year, the parks during the day are pretty dead compared to peak times.
We left the condo around 9, I think we did the "McDonald's drive thru for some McGriddles" breakfast, just can't remember........??? Anyway, here's some pix while driving to the parks (actually riding, my wife Sherry was doing the driving) I-4, George's Music (there are George's Music stores in southeast PA, I taught drums at the Spring City PA store back in the late 80s early 90s) Universal Dr 1 and Universal Drive 2 of course, the traditional pic of where we parked! Some people mover action, the HRH viewed from the people movers (looking forward to our weekend stay). Here's a shot of Citywalk. We decided to start our day at the studios. The streets of USO are pretty dead in the morning in October. Of course we had to hit the Mummy 1st. We did Shrek and then decided to get a soda and just sit outside of Mel's and take some pix. The weather was gorgeous at this time, so we just sat for a while and soaked it all in.
Mystery Machine 1, Mystery Machine 2, cool old car (just don't know classic cars well enough to know the make and year, reminds me of a 40' Ford or 37' Chevy??) Madagascar characters. On the way to MIB I took some central Park pix, More and another . Here is the obligatory Simpsons construction area pic. After MIB, which I'm terrible at, just over 300,000
We waited on the bridge going to Amity to catch the Space Shuttle. Here are some shots of that. I posted these somewhere while I was actually there, but here they are again for continuity's sake.

Shuttle 3
Shuttle 4, this one is zoomed as much as possible, kind of a bad pic, but interesting!
OK, the shuttle disappeared out of sight, so I took some pics of the neato balls in the lagoon. We didn't ride Jaws, we were waiting to do it at night during during HHN, and we did, that was on another day, it was awesome at night. Here's a random Amity pic. So on our way out of the studios I took another pic of the empty streets, some of these pics might not be so good, I was experimenting with my new camera, I was messing around with different filters and all that crap. I'm probably getting myself into another expensive hobby.
Gotta run for now, will try to get back later today to finish this day up!
I'm back, lets see what I can remember. We went to IOA, went pretty much in order around IOA, starting with the Hulk, then Spidey, on the way to DD I ran into Cat in the Hat, that's the first time I got my pic with him. Then I took the opportunity to get a pic of the bridge going into the lost continent with no one on it. Of course, one of my favorite places to eat at the parks, the Enchanted Oak. A shot of The Hulk from behind the Oak. Then I went to get a drink, so Sherry took the camera and got some pix of some Lost Continent characters that I've only en once before in all my trips to the parks.

We went on DD twice, waited once for front row on fire, then we did last row on ice, very good, almost as good as front row, imho! Then we ate at the Oak, here are the rabid fish in the water behind the Oak, then headed to JP. JP had a lot of things not working this day, the big doors were just propped open, and the Ultrasaur was sleeping in his own private tent
Here is Sherry and I in the Dudley cue. I agree with Jodie about the lap bars, it definately makes it confining and not as fun, but I'll ride it again next year. Granted I would have made an effort to ride it more this trip if they wouldn't have been installed! Here is a pic of my son Zak and I after Dudley but before Popeye, where the drenching really took place. Here's a nice "wet" pic after Popeye. I think we then just walked around to try and dry off. We made our way out of IOA, stopping to look in the shops along the way, and we had Ben & Jerry's ice cream in Toon Lagoon. We just chilled at the resort for the night, because Wednesday would be our HHN Secrets of the Sideshow tour and a long night at HHN!
