I just need to be consoled.
I have a family trip planned for the week of October 24 and the dates are firm. My husband's sister and her family will be joining us and it is their first trip to the World. We have been three times since 2004, once offsite in a house in Orange Co. and twice on property (NOFQ and POP).
We were planning on staying at the Pop but would need two rooms. If I can't get a really good discount or (finger's crossed) free dining, then my DH wants us to consider a house again.
We can get a 4 bedroom for less than $100/night tax included. We all love staying in the world but this would save over $750 on an undiscounted Pop stay and probably would save a bit on food too since we would eat more at "home". We would end up renting two cars regardless because we don't like to wait on Disney transportation.
Either way we'll have fun but I will be disappointed if I can't pin (pun intended) anything down for those dates!
