Is October usually excluded from discounts/promos b/c of HHN?

Promos usually end in early October. There was a great PIN this spring for the late summer and early fall dates and it ended in early October.

How does one go about being offered a PIN. I know nothing is definite, just like WDW. I know with WDW you have to sign up with a account, order their DVD, and do a bunch of things for Disney to get your email and basically 'notice' you. So what does it take with Universal?

I'm not just taking about pins. I want to know if any public discounts have been offered in Oct. It looks like just the beginning of the month only, I guess.

the general promo open to all (smsm) is available for the entire year.

it was available for early thru mid october when i booked back in the winter.



check and see if it is on for next year.

I see promos for our trip from Oct 9-13. There's a stay more save more rate, and we actually booked an Annual Pass rate. The SMSM rates aren't great, no doubt due to the parties, but it's better than nothing.
