Oct or Nov?

We're trying to pick a trip week and it's down to the week of Halloween and the week after Thanksgiving. Both times we would be there Mon-Mon. Any advice on which is the better time crowd-wise. It's DH, myself and DD age 4. We went two years ago at Christmas and it was crazy crowded. Looking for something a little less so!

I've heard the week after Thanksgiving is one of the best times to go. Low crowds, value season, and the Christmas decorations are up. We're going the week of Thanksgiving, and I would rather be going the week after, but we have 3 kids school schedules to work around.

OK, to add to my question, now DH thinks he could go the week before Halloween. So, any thoughts from folks who have been those weeks before?
