First of all Cheers!

Crowds should not be to bad. I would say your queue time should be max 30 minutes, maybe less. The weather will be great. Doing a google search I found that the average temps in October is 75 and November is 68. I would guess that the average low would be upper 50's to low 60's. I hope you have a great trip and hope this answers some of your questions.

Not real sure about birthday ideas. You can always tell the people at the places you eat that you want to suprise the birthday person in your group. Hopefully others will reply about this. I have seen severaly posts regarding birthday ideas.

I have great memories of Disney. I would go with my cousins when I was a kid in the 70's. There was only the Magic Kingdom back then. I have a picture of me and my cousin riding the indy race cars. I was all bundled up and you can only see my face. She hated riding that with me because I would bump the rail all the way around and make for a rough ride.

Hope this helps some. Cheers!

Just back stayed 10/31-11/06 weather was great! it was 75 during the day and close to 60 at night. weekend were a little more crowded with locals...but during the week, we were just walking on rides with little to no wait! longest wait was 20 minutes.
we had two birthdays on our trip...make sure to get a Happy Birthday pin, cast members (and some really nice guests) will all wish you a happy birthday! at dinner make sure you mention a birthday when checking in, you just might get a little something extra...:cloud9:
