oct/nov weather

what is the weather at end of oct/beginning of nov like? We are looking at a pop up, but GOD only knows if we will purchase before we get down there! Every purchase process for us is slow! Anyway, just wondered temps/precip for that time of year. thanks

Chances are you might get some cold nights, but it's still early enough that you can have some warm days. You're just starting to get near the dates when you can more guarantee colder weather, but for sure you won't be having super hot days either. As well, the rain in the afternoons should have stopped for the most part by then.

It can always vary from year to year, but I'd agree that shorts/T-shirts during the days, with pants/sweatshirt at night.

We were there last year and it was usually low to upper 80'sF during the day, and most nights it stayed in the upper 60's low 70's. Although one night I did have to grab a sweatshirt. Not much rain to speak of. Just a few sprinkles in the morning.

Great time of year to go, and we'll be down there for Halloween again this year

You'll have no problems. We have had warm weather and cool at that time of year. It's our favorite time to go.

This will be our fifth year there at that time. Pretty darn near perfect weather and no crowds! But it is hurricane season. Disney relocates you to a resort if a hurricane threatens - that's happened to us once.

True, although that is at the very tail end of hurricane season, and November hurricanes are rare and even if they do happen they are usually pretty weak and stay offshore.

We had a hurricane form two years ago in November, and trust me, people around here were kind of like "huh, a hurricane in November?". It never even came close to the US, and this was when everything was slamming into the US.

There is always a very remote chance, but I wouldn't worry too much about hurricanes in November, especially actually hitting the US, but it DOES rarely happen, so hatchmo brings up a valid point

were not too worried about hurricanes-if it happens, it happens.......we were there in huricane charlie, if I remember correctly it was august 04......we were safe, felt safe. we actually call it one of our best trips since we had a great down day! Now we know to have at least one down day with every trip! I just want the good weather, and little rain since we will be camping whether we get our pop up or still use our "old fashioned" tent!
