I am looking to go late Oct., 3rd or 4th week. The golf Tournment is scheduled for 4 days Thursday thru Sunday in the 3rd week. It there a great influx of people to the parks on those days? Thank you.

We went in 2003 while the golf tourney was going on. The hotel was fully booked (AKL), so it worried me a bit. But you didn't notice it in the parks at all. We usually go that time of year anyway.

We were there last year during that time, and you notice it at the resorts only. The parks were very very managable.

Guess the golf tourney runs all week from Mon-Sunday. Does anyone else have any experience with that week? The last week of October looks okay, but the Halloween Party is Sun, Tues, Thurs, Fri, Sun nights. Does that make the MK more crowded during those days? Would that mean there would be no fireworks at MK for non-party attending folks? Thanks.

The only impact I've encountered is that the Delux Resorts are packed and lots of activities. Roads around the GF are pretty congested. Other than that, no real impact.

you notice it at the resorts only

I agree. I've been there 5 or 6 times during the games and it seemed to me that the MK area resorts (CR,GF especiallly) were very, very busy - but parks were not significantly impacted.

Thank you all very much. I think we will be going 10/15 thru 10/23 during the golf tourney. Gives us 2 chances to see the Halloween party, but the rest of the nights that week are open for the regular MK schedule. Works out on the resorts also. My husband and I are taking 4 kids and their Mom as a present and will be opting for Pop Century for the value or PO French Quarter if a good Annual Passholder rate appears. Love those deluxe resorts, but they are not in the budget this time! Still, what a treat to take kids/Mom for their 1st ever visit to the Mouse!!!

We noticed more crowds than what you would otherwise expect during that time of year in the Fantasyland of MK. Dumbo, Tea Cup - those types of rides were busy, but nothing to make you reconsider the time you have chosen, the kids will love MNSSHP.

We will be there there the final saturday and sunday of the golf tournament as well as the following week. I was wondering the same thing as the OP. Sounds like the impact on the parks will be minimal. Sounds like halloween partys and food and wine festival will have a more significant impact on the parks.
