I have been to WDW in March (spring break time), Feb (Pres week) and Oct (mid to late). We are bringing DD for her first visit Oct 10-20, when she is 1. We are used to moderate crowds from going in the past, but have just noticed that our visit falls during Columbus day weekend and the Canadian Thanksgiving. In addition, there is the Fairytale package through 10/31. Will all these things make it much more crowded than usual, or about the same as we have seen in the time periods we visited in the past?

We are thinking of maximizing our time during our visit by doing the EE parks (if we can get going that early), then switching parks or taking a break in mid afternoon. Fantasyland for DD is what I am most concerned with. When is that the least crowded?

Thanks!:bounce: :Pinkbounc

The Fairytale package is likely to drive up attendance during that period. Will it be "much more crowded"? Hard to tell. Disney is only making a set number of rooms available at the package price, and I don't think anyone really knows how many rooms that will be.

Personally, I would expect to see SOME increase over same-time crowds the last couple of years. How significant of an increase will it be? Your guess is as good as mine.

I'm hoping the crowds are not too bad. We are going for MNSSHP and the Food and Wine Festival!!! CAn't wait!
