Hello, new here and just found the boards! We're so excited for the cruise, got our cruise booklet in the mail yesterday! This is our first cruise ever, and we are getting married the night before.

Welcome to the boards and congratulations on the wedding! This is our first cruise too and it's a surprise for our 6yo dd. I can't wait! One month to go!

@Roxy- No, we aren't getting married at WDW; but plan on hopefully going after the cruise. We live in Gainesville and love going to Orlando all the time lol. :c)

welcome Shannon and Tony. How exciting to honeymoon on a Disney cruise. WE wish we had done that. DH and I will celebrate our 15th anniversary on the cruise, and there a couple others celebrating as well. You can celebrate with us too!

I am so excited for our first cruise, it is going to be me and my 4,5 year old son. Exciting!
my husband is not coming with, hes working out of state, i wasnt really feeling about staying home and celebrating my bday, what better place to celebrate then on Castaway Cay, right????

We have the beach day booked in Nassau, i thought about dolphins, but thats something I would like to do when dh can come along And my son loves the beach so much, i was not going to palo or remi or the spa, and read good reviews about the beach day, so why not.
Only 1 month left to go! Did I say I was excited?

I'm new to the DISboards, and would love to meet with others. This is our second Disney Cruise, and we are getting married on Day 3 while at Castaway Cay!! Can't believe we leave in 17 days!!!! YAY!!!

This is our second Disney cruise also and celebrating our 19th anniversary on day 4 - at sea. Congratulations to you - we'll have to meet up for a celebration toast!

Here are the DIS meet up plans. I think this is what will work best based on what was suggested by many. Please don't feel like you must attend a meetup. This is obviously not a requirement of your cruise plans .

First meetup will be at 10pm on the first night of the cruise. Everyone who chooses to do so, can meet up in the District Lounge and we can move on from there as people plan for shows or a night of dancing and drinking.

Second meetup for those who couldn't make it the first night will be an Ice Cream social near the Eye Scream area on our Sea Day at 1pm.

This will hopefully give those who want to meet up with other DIS board members more than one opportunity to do so.

Come to one, both or none...either way I hope everyone has a wonderful vacation aboard the DISNEY DREAM OCTOBER 7-11, 2012 CRUISE!!!!

My husband's cousin and his family will be on this cruise with all of ya. They are so excited! Charlie & Kathleen have been on a 3 night cruise on the Wonder (or maybe it was on the Magic before the Wonder was sailing) with us about 10 or so years ago. But their kids have never been on a cruise. I sure wish we were going with them to help make sure they don't miss anything! But...we are sailing on the Fantasy in February.

Anyway....if you see them....say hi! Charlie has a long goatee and Kathleen is rather pooh sized. They have a DD9, a DS8, and DS2. They'll probably stick out like a sore thumb because they don't vacation very often. And believe me, you'll know what I'm talking about when and if you see Charlie's goatee....it's quite the sight!
