Joining in, just booked this cruise with our DVC points. I know it's not the best use of points, but we had banked points that would be expiring so might as well put them to use.

This will be our first cruise and we'll be celebrating our 5 year anniversary. We're planning on leaving DD at home with her grandparents.

Just found this thread. We too are booked on this cruise which we booked while aboard the Dream in August. This will be our 10th Disney cruise,
Can count us in on the FE and CE as it materializes. We are also DVC members and are looking forward AKV visit in 8 weeks.

They will be doing the b2b and I will join them for the 2nd half of the back to back..

This will be my 4th cruise!! Second on the Wonder...

Vikki, I've always rented out my DVC points and paid cash for my cruise!! Was the point cost high??

Hello everyone! Just put in a request to our TA to move us to this cruise! We were all planning on doing the last Southern and then the repo to PC but the kids schedules didn't work out. So we plan on doing the following:

Hubby and I will take the 9/27 Fantasy Western as our anniversary cruise(#19 will be on 10/5). We cruised on the Magic alone in May and had absolutely the most fantastic time! Anyway, the kids will stay home with grandpa and will be finishing up 1st quarter exams. Then, they will fly out on Saturday afternoon to meet up with us. They fly often and age 15.5 and 8.5, I feel confident they won't have any problems. DD flew by herself at 10 and didn't mind it at all. Anyway, we will stay in DVC for 2 nights, go to MNSSHP on Sunday (I'm guessing it will be on Sunday it has been last few years), then all hit this cruise on Monday! Hoping that missing 3 days of school won't be a problem (they have fall break that Monday and Tuesday).


So looking forward to not 1, not 2, but THREE days at Castway Cay!!! We've been on 4 cruises and only CC twice. Water was chilly but bearable on our 1st, we couldn't dock on our 2nd, water too darn cold on our 3rd, and no scheduled stop on our 4th. At least water should be warm in October

Anyway, we will like to participate with the FE. Once I make sure I get my requested cabin I will PM the information. Sorry if I missed it but who do I send it too???

We haven't really started the FE list yet since it's so far out, and a few people have already changed from this cruise to another, and we gained a few, like you!! We've been discussing a number of things on the FB page also!!

I'm bumping up!

We will be at BWV during the week before the cruise, but we decided to visit our family in Lithia FL right before the cruise. Our DGC are in lots of activities, so we hope to get to a swim meet or ball game.

The night we get off the ship, we'll go to BCV. We're hoping to get to a good Eat to the Beat concert!

This is not official sign up, too early, but the people who have expressed an interest in the candy exchange so far are..

Higher than I would have liked, but we had banked points that we were going to lose. It would have been better to rent out the points and then pay cash for the cruise, but it was just easier this way.

We've cruised on points when we had some banked as well. I know it's not the best use of points for everyone, but it was great for us. I don't like the idea of renting out points because the owner of the points is ultimately responsible for any room damage, smoking in room, unpaid charges. I'm sure it doesn't happen often at all but it is a risk I'm not willing to take.
