Morning everyone,
cool and foggy today.

We have seen a few nice homes for $60 to $70 thousand dollars in the Davenport area , also Leesburg and Fruitland park area which we also like.
We were lucky to sell our home in Fruitland Park and one in Poiinciana without going under too, but didnt make but peanuts on them. I feel badly for everyone who has lost their home or lost the value in their homes. But if you can just stick it out, eventually values will go up again and you will gain back your equity.
My husband use to work for Maronda homes which was a huge builder in Florida for many years.
We watch everyday for new listings in the area.:goodvibes

Thankyou everyone for letting me know you got the list. There are only a couple people who I havnt heard back from, so thats good. Looks like things must be fixed here.

If I missed anyone please let me know:thumbsup2

Have a great day everyone,

Kathy

I actually bought my first home from Maronda. I bought in Oct 1999, and bought it while single. I am always so happy I took that step. DH moved in when we got married, and we sold in 2008 for more than double what I paid. It made for a great down payment on our current home, which is more than twice the size (2700 sq ft). We only paid $30k more for our current home than what we sold our last one for. While our home has lost so much in value, we don't plan on moving for a long time. The drop has been nice for property taxes, and at least we are not underwater on the mortgage.

Good luck looking at homes...I know there are a ton around us for sale!

I'm trying to get some ideas for the FE exchange. Are there any guidelines? I am planning to make them and since we have so many cabins I want to try to get started.

The only suggestions i have is remember people need to be able to pack them in their suitcases for the trip home, so it cant be too large or fragile.

Other than that, Just have fun with it.:goodvibes

This will be our first cruise with the kids. We've been talking it up their whole lives as my husband and I have been on 4 Disney Cruises (pre-children) with our first sailing in 1999 on the Magic for our Honeymoon.
We look forward to getting to know everyone!

Best Wises~

Howdy Brenna,

Great to have your and your family along.
I am Kathy & DH is Greg, no kids with us on this cruise.

We have a cruisemates list of most everyone on this thread.
It helps us to get to know each other and find kids the ages of your kids so they can become friends before the cruise.

If you would like to be on the list so you can get a copy of it I am happy to add you.
The type of information everyone has listed on the list are the following

Posting name,
city and state your from
Names and names and ages of the kids ( so they can find kids their age)
Dining time
cabin number
any celebrations on board this cruise
How many cruises you've been on
Family photo
I fyou want to do the Fish Extender gift exchange
e-mail address. ( i need that to send the list. It is too large to PM to people)

You can PM me the information and I can add you right away and send you out a copy of the list.. I am still fine tuning it but its good enough to send out.
After we have more new people to add to the list I will send out a revised list.

Looking forward to chatting with you :goodvibes

Morning everyone,
still pouring rain here. Hoping it dries out soon around here. I am about to have to get a row boat instead of a car to get around.;)
