I can't believe how dead this thread was all weekend :woohoo:
Hope everyone was out having fun.

Greg, One more win under our belts :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Boy the traffic going to the game was horrible!! We were heading the opposite directions this time but saw all the hundreds, maybe even thousands of cars heading to Eugene with all their yellow (gold) and green pom poms or flags and stuff on all the cars. About 65 or 70 miles of them.

Boy was I glad we were going the other direction ;)

Catch everyone later, I need to unpack from the weekend trip.

Kathy

Happy monday everyone :goodvibes

Cold and rainy here. We are low enough in elevation we arnt getting snow but not too far from us they are getting some.

Today I am breaking in new shoes. Not my favorite thing to do.
Plus since I dont want to get them all wet and muddy I have to change back and forth with my boots each time I take the dogs outside.
So by the end of the day I will have changed shoes 5 ot 6 times.:lmao:

Thats all from my neck of the woods.

Have a great day everyone,

Kathy

Morning everyone:wave:

Sorry I was MIA this weekend but my parents are here plus I am leaving in 4 days so I was busy busy busy.

Only 3 more days of work and my vacation officially starts. We leave on Friday and sail on Saturday. For those of you who are on FB, I will try to post some pictures before sailaway.

It was beautiful all last week but it's super windy today and going to get cold...well Vegas cold anyway.

Kathy

We got 3 inches of snow so far today and it looks like it's not going to stop until Wednesday.

I think by tomorrow we may have enough to fire up the snow machines and go riding! :woohoo:

EWWWWWWWWWWWW!!! Poor you guys!!! Snow is baaaaaaad. :)
At least you all get enough to have some fun in. I think that's why I hate snow, I never get enough here to have fun in.

Anyway, not much going on around here, it's supposed to be in the 70's again today. :scared1: It was 75 yesterday!:scared1: That's unusual for us in Indiana for this late in the year. Got the Christmas events for the family nailed down this weekend. We are doing all of our Christmas parties on Christmas eve and Christmas day. The kids are getting a phone call on Christmas morning telling them they are going on the cruise. Still haven't nailed down Thanksgiving plans though!:rotfl:

Hope everyone has a wonderful week and an awesome Tuesday!:goodvibes

Christine, have a great time, cant wait to see pics and here all about that huge ship.

Well Izzy will be leaving Friday morning.....I'm feeling really sad. I have been noticing this week when I drop her at day care, she is starting to get attached to some of the girls that watch her.....now that she is getting comfortable, she will be leaving....poor baby.

Well I better get to work
have a good one

Oh, you don't need to feel sorry for me, we enjoy winter here! :thumbsup2

Granted, no one likes being cold, but winters here in Idaho are absolutely gorgeous!!

I live near the base of the "Grand Tetons" in the Rocky Mountain range and have moose, elk and deer that spend the winter in our back pasture. The views from here would take your breath away! :cloud9:

Denise, I've felt so bad that I've been hoggin' all this lovely snow that I've decided to be "selfless" and send some your way.......Merry Christmas! :rotfl2:

No, no need to thank me.....I'm just imagining the look and your face and it does my heart good!! :cloud9: :lmao:

It hits you first! But, you get it worse I bet because of the lake effect... We live far enough south of Lake Michigan that we don't get it. But, it's been so dry here the last few months that I'm guessing we get hit hard with snow this year.:sad1:

Oh I bet that IS beautiful!!! Corn and bean fields covered in icky brown snow aren't very pretty. :rotfl: I'm just not a fan of snow. I think it's because we never get enough to play in with the snowmobiles or it never sticks around long enough to go sledding like it used to. The kids love it though, when it's not too cold for them to go out.

morning all,

still all rain here and lots of it :sad2:

Denise soon it will be too quiet for you. You'll need to readjust all over again.

Saw on the news Carnival Splender had an engine fire and is dead in the water near mexico. No working toilets, no AC, no hot food and 4500 people on board.:scared1: They have ships coming to tow it into port. People get their cruise what there was of it for free and a free cruise in the future.

Not possitive but I think it was the 1st or 2nd day of the cruise.

Kathy

Sorry Denise, are you going to get to see her for Christmas

wahooo! top of the page!

celebrating a top of the page... you are a true Nana now.

afternoon:

Christine, I dont think I will see her for the holidays....but there is always a small chance....

Kathy: My friend from work is on the carnival dream this week, and when I got to work this morning, they were telling me about the ship and that the news reported it as the carnival dream...and isnt that the ship that Karen was on? :scared1: So we all went into a mini panic, as this is their first cruise and she was looking so forward to it....then a few minutes later, found out that it wasnt her ship....:woohoo:...so I'm thinking she is probably enjoying St Thomas today......

Greg: I guess the war has begun, however, today we are in the 70's....so no snow today...but when the first flake falls, I will be sure to let you know...however, I cannot say that I will let you know nicely!!:littleangel:

later

Morning all,

Denise I am glad your friend wasnt on the Splender. That would be quite an experience for the cruisers.

Christine, hope your all packed and ready to go now!!!
I am really anxious to hear all about the ship and events on board. We really want to go on that cruise too in the near future.

Greg, are you ready to bring out the sled and huskies to get around yet?
Mush on!!:lmao:

Still pouring rain here and cold. Suppose to warm up to the 50's and dry up over the weekend. Hope thats right.

Back later,

Kathy

Let's just hope we don't get stuck at sea with Cholera, eating Spam :scared1:

I'm almost done with packing. I actually had to get a bigger piece of luggage cause the one I had was too small and I really didn't want to have to bring extra luggage. I am flying SW so I wouldn't have to pay but it would still be a pain.

BTW...It's my Super Friday:dancer: It's my Super Friday:dancer:

Have a great time Christine!!!:cheer2::cheer2:

Still unseasonably warm here, again in the 70's today. :cloud9: Besides that, really nothing important happening.

Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone!:goodvibes

Hey gang....I thought I better get in here and post before the whiplady gets even crankier than her normal cranky. HI MOM:flower3:

We all have to watch Christine and Joey sail away....then we cry cause we're not with them, then we have a drink to ease our pain. Got it everyone? Very good.....

Have a monkey....
