Good morning Nana's!

It froze last night and what was left in our garden is now dead. Luckily we had just harvested most of it last weekend, but we had a few cucumbers and tomatoes still out that didn't survive. Fall is officially here!

The Fedex guy showed up this morning with a delivery....inside was a $100 gift certificate to the Outback steak house......my day is starting off pretty good.

Any warmer weather coming my way Kathy? I enjoy the 60-70 degree stuff but anything below 50 I can do without right now.

Irrigation season doesn't end until the last week in October and I hate trying to manage water with snow on the ground!

Greg, suppose to be low 70's all week and one day 80 so it should come your way soon, of course I wont send it your way until I am done with it, so dont hold your breath waiting for it

Morning everyone

Not much going on here, we're having a nice quiet weekend.

It's beautiful here, high 60s in the morning and 80s during the day...just perfect

It's been a pretty nice day here also. The temp. has warmed up from 47 to 64....so that's in my comfort zone!

I went into town and picked up a new camera for our Mediterranean cruise. I decided to go with an SLR this time even though I've never owned one before. I was worried it would take a lot of time and practice to take good photos, but it's amazing how easy this camera is to use and how sharp and clear the pictures are!

We did some side by side comparing between our point & shoots and this SLR and the difference is HUGE!!

Can't wait to use it on our trip!

Stopped at a garage sale yesterday and my 3 year old spotted a picture of the disney ship, it's actually a picture made up of pins to form the ship, plus a pin of the Disney cruise ship logo. It was given out to triple A guest who booked through them. Anyway, we picked it up for 4 bucks, and I looked on ebay, it was selling for 90.00! It's sitting on my mantle right now.
Went shopping today, looking at pirates costumes...does anyone know if they are still having the pariates night on thr Dream? I sure hope so!

Well it has been a beautiful weekend. Yesterday morning however, it was raining but cleared up around 1pm....and turned to a beautiful day....today there is a nice breeze out.....

Just have been doing a little cleaning and washing floors now going to relax...

Leaving in 9 days to colorado....then 2 days after I get home, Heather will be back and be dropping Isabella off for 6 weeks.....Wally and I are excited, however, I know Heather is gonna miss her....

One of the girls I work with, her uncle lives in Colorado Springs, found out she is going to visit him for a week and we are on the same flight going out there. So now I have a traveling companion.

Gosh, where have my manners been. I know i have been MIA! Call off the Coast guard, I am here!!!! Nothing exciting going on here.....no exciting work stories, no glamorous encounters, no fabulous trips.....just absolutely nothing!! I will be in Nashville next weekend for a conference. I do only work 3 days this coming up week...well i guess that is exciting news...

wow, awesome find!!! those are the kind of yard sales i like!!

If i have a question about something being of value before i put it in a sale... i look it up on ebay!

We had received a gift at christmas one year for one of our foster children from my mom, well he had gotten so many gifts that year we did not ever open it. Well we had gone a whole year and forgotten about it and we were going to take it back to walmart. I got to thinking, let me look it up and see what it was selling for at walmart and see if it is worth taking it back. Well i looked on there and it was sold out and was priced at 19.97....so i got to thinking...ummm hot item for Christmas maybe.... i looked on ebay and it was going for $40....you better believe i put that sucker on ebay! I did my Buy it now for 30 and it went in less than 5 minutes!!

Well the win last night with Tennessee was kinda of a bitter sweet for me. I hate that Tennessee lost because they are an SEC team but yet i dislike Tennessee (very strongly)

tink11 I LOVE getting those good buys. Here the sales are 50 miles apart so I havnt gone to a garage sale for a year now. Probably for the best, I dont have a lot of room to put new stuff anyway.

My in laws made it back from Knoxville yesterday and said the stadium at Tennessee was amazing and they had a great time watching the game.

Looks like the next game is a "home" game against Portland State.

Taking the RV into town this morning so they can see the Vin number. DMV wont let us buy Oregon Plates unless they see it for themselves. I guess they think we stole the title we have. Its a huge hassle for us. They better know where to look for the Vin, usually its on the windshield but ours isnt there
