Boy our thread really died over the weekend didnt it?
Had a good day at the fair with some of our family, then on to visit with my mom and an into one of my brothers for a good visit, then picked up the pups and headed home. Got home around 8:30 P.M.

Now I am so tired. I did sleep in until 7 a.m. this morning which is over sleeping for me.

Today is laundry and getting a few groceries.Lets keep us off page 3 people!!

Yes I said 3 :sad2:

Kathy

Yikes. Page three. How did that happen?
Air conditioning is broken. Looks like we are going to pay time and a half to get the fix-it guy out here today as the temp climbs to 90 and stays there for the week. I love hot weather but only in the context of having AC to escape to and sleep in.

Otherwise just trying to get some things done around the house as our vacation bags and such are still not completely put away.

I SHOULD be doing work but just can't get started on anything so it's best to put it aside and jump in when my brain is ready too.

Happy Sunday everyone.

We had a bit of excitement yesterday. We finally had Kathy's cold front move through and it was packing some serious wind with it. As it went over our house the winds were probably gusting around 50mph. I went outside and told Chayce I wouldn't be surprised if it spawned a tornado!

Once it went over West Yellowstone the winds really picked up and some say it formed a tornado, but so far it hasn't been confirmed. Many homes and hotels in Yellowstone area were damaged. We went up to check on our condo and it didn't sustain any damage at all.....not even a missing shingle so we feel really fortunate. :worship:

Greg, I dont mess around. You asked for my cooler weather and I sent it, now your complaining it was too windy.:confused3 Theres just no pleasing you!!! You should know me well enough by now to realize I can be a bit windy at times or is that long winded :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Glad you condo is ok.

Kathy

Last night i went to Book a Million and was looking at the 2010 passporter and now i am even more excited about going on the cruise. If you have not seen that edition it has some info on the new ships!!!!! I am ready for them to come out with the updated 2011 edition after they go on their dream cruise!!! It is getting closer and closer :banana:

Morning all:

Busy weekend with running and making hot habenero sauce....I dont use it but Wally does and passing it out to some friends who like it....the smell of the habenero's was getting to me...anyway, we still have tons of peppers growing, so I am sure we will be making a lot more batches...this was our second we made one last week.

So my question...I just booked this as a back 2 back yesterday :woohoo: but the girl I spoke with at reservations told me that I needed to add an additional 400.00 dollor deposit on top of my 250.00 that I made back in 08. Does that sound right? I guess she booked it seperatly, I thought she would have just cancelled the one I had and re-do it all. I'm calling back today to see if that can be done. Any feedback would be helpful.

I took off of work today, going to get some house work done and they i have some running to do.

Have a good one all

You are booking two separate cruises so they require two deposits.

Morning everyone,

so nice to see a few posts this morning after sucha slow weekend.

Jeff is excused ,although he was here since he has been posting a great trip report with awesome photos.:thumbsup2
How ever the excused absence wont last for long, my whip wants to keep EVERYONE posting here.;)

Denise, Jeff is right, 2 cruises, 2 people, total of 2 deposits. Just think of it as all the less to pay off later and it wont seem so bad :goodvibes

I was thrilled to read you booked this cruise officially. As it approaches we seem to be getting a little more interest from some old bananaheads:cool1:

I have high hopes for several more to join us as time gets closer.

I woke up at 3 a.m. to pouring rain. YIKES!! Its been 59 days since we have had a drop and I wasnt really expecting a heavy rain, only a shower or two the next couple of days before returning to the mid 80's by wednesday but this is NOT a shower its a down pour which hasnt stopped yet.

I felt really bad because we have a young couple in a tent across from us. She looks about 8 months pregnant and has about a 15 month old. That is so hard in a tent and then to have everything get soaked is terrible. I would have just gone into the rec room where its warm and dry, restrooms are there. I probably would have put our my air mattresses and sleeping bags in there and slept. Nobody would have cared.
Its a huge area with tables and chairs, pool table, comfy love seats stc...

Oh well I will be inside today accept to take the girls out for a bathroom break. The wet dog smell has returned. Time to bring out the scented candles again.

catch everyone later,

Kathy

Just another reason to never go camping :teeth:

We have had 129 days of no measurable rain and there doesn't seem to be any in our immediate future. Makes planning things outside really easy. It acutally cooled down here this weekend. It was 75 on my way to work:cloud9: but the perfect weather won't last long it will be back in the 100s by this weekend.

Denise, yes, I thought that same thing as you "Its one cruise, why 2 deposits" but really it is 2 cruises so I had to pay the extra $400 for the second one and didn't get to use my rebooking discount.

GOOD MORNING!!!

Well, the more i read on the boards the better i feel! I have to think...this is just one more day closer to going on the Dream! I just wish i could get this to help motivate me through a day of work. :confused3.

My day today is going to be a lazy day. Going to sit at home and do nothing!! House is clean:laundy: groceries bought:thumbsup2.....now just sit here watch TV :happytv: or sit at the computer :surfweb:...ahhh today is the life.

All will be good until i get up in the morning and remember.....CRAP, i have to go to work today!:scared1:

Hope everyone has a great day!

Must. Stop. We avoided adding on DVC while on the cruise, but I just figured out how we can add on a minimal amount of points to be able to book Aulani every other year (since we go to Hawaii about that often). We just sold our Animal Kingdom points and we can do an even-steven trade. SO tempted to do it before the price increase on Nov. 1. Stop me!!!

Can't you just trade into it without buying points there? I'm sure the maintenance fees are off the chart. The Marriott Ko Olina next door has fee's of over $1500 a year! :scared:

Actually the fees are less than Animal Kingdom which we just sold. And having the 11 month reservation window is going to be key for this resort - if you want to go at popular times (ie. the summer).
