Bobby, I agree, Joanna and Mitch and family needs to come too.

Last time we saw both your girls all over the ship and CC. They stopped and talked with us many times. it was like they were joined together. You never saw one without the other one
So they need to both be there this time too, including their parents!!

Yes Kathy, Jessie and Samantha are inseparable, it is so funny how they took to one another since they were real little. Hopefully their friendship will last into adulthood, especially since the parents are friends also, we can all take our grandchildren on vacation together.

We are booked on the 8/16 cruise for Samantha's Sweet 16. The girls I'm sure are more than thrilled to be doing the Dream twice in 3 months, actually 3 times since Bobby and Cindy are doing a back to back. They are very lucky girls and we are blessed to have them. I wanted Bobby to do the 8/16 cruise, but he waited to long to book and it is way up there in price now. But I'm sure Jessie and Samantha rather it this way, this way they can get 3 cruises out of two sweet 16 parties

Hey everyone. Sorry not posting here but i'm trying to finish my trip report. Also trying to plan a weekend away with my wife. Long story short - we had something planned with friends (Bahamas-Sandals) in Sept. and had to cancel. Now it looks like we have a possible opening in mid October. Any ideas? It will be the first time we have been away just the two of us in about five years!

First day of school today was a success. Emily loved first grade and Elizabeth loved loved loved Middle School. Let's see how day two goes...

I thought about Vegas - if the flight wasn't so long - since we are likely only going for 2 nights....don't want to spend that much time on the plane. I think we are going to end up going somewhere a little closer to home - somewhere in Fla (been looking at South Beach hotels) or maybe NYC....

Good morning nanaheads,
Feels like winter today. We are in the low 40's this morning. I had to turn on the furnace in August I guess we will be in the 40s every night for at least a week. Plus our highs will be 82 which is ok.

I hope winter doesnt come early this year especially since summer didnt really start until around the 10th of July this year.


Jeff, NYC sounds good. Plenty to do and not too far to go. Just watch out for Mina to go shopping, the trip may cost mroe than you think
Me I would head to the M&M store.
Hurricane Earl may hit the East coast next week, so keep that in mind too.


Anybody have plans for the weekend???

We are going to the state fair tomorrow. Going to meet family there.

Well Kathy, let's see what's up for the weekend...

I still am so crushed with work I will be chained to the computer for part of the weekend.

Elizabeth's Swim Team Party is tomorrow.

Weather is supposed to be beautiful so we are going to be using our pool as much as possible now that we know our time is limited with it as the weather will turn soon enough.

Booked our ADRs for our post-Christmas trip to WDW. Got almost everything we wanted when we wanted. Booked the new pizza place at Epcot - Via Napoli, along with Yachtsman Steakhouse for New Year's Eve, Narcoossees, Tutto Italia, Kouzzina and O'hana and the Cape May Cafe for breakfast. Trying to cut down on the character meals as the girls get older and we see so many of them on the ship it seems like a waste at the parks - especially because the food is generally terrible at so many of them! May add a Chef Mickey's breakfast but we shall see...

Hello all.

Just wanted to check in and say hello. Big weekend here in my little town, the Summer's End Festival. I don't want to go, but my kids love it and are dying to go so I will be taking them to watch the parade and down to the park to see the booths and play the games and things. Then when Daddy gets home, it will be time for supper and then fireworks. The town has been officially over run with golf carts and people that don't know how to drive golf carts. Thankfully it will all be over soon!

Sounds Like Jeff and Morgan will be very busy this weekend.

Jeff, Yachtsmans is a favorite of Greg and DS Peter. When we lived in Florida they went there a few times. I love Chef Mickeys for the atmosphere too.
We have thought about trying the new pizza place at Epcot too on our December trip but not 100% sure yet. It sounds really great.

I'm still waiting for your cool weather to come my way Kathy! Today we have a lot of wind which has helped a little. Yesterday we got up to 100 degrees, but I think today is only suppose to reach the 80's?

Not much going on here this weekend. It's the kid's last weekend before school starts, so I'm sure they'll spend most of it over at the lake with their friends.

I just made our final payment for our Med. cruise in December. After looking at Jeff's pictures and reading his trip report we're all excited to go!

Greg you just got our weather from 2 days ago when we hit 102, you lucked out at only 100
So now you can expect a cooling trend to come your way. We will only hit around 70 today, that should arrive at your place on sunday. So see I did send my weather your way. You just had to take our heat before our cool weather.
