Good morning all,

Love all the towel animals.

It was a lot of fun taking the class they had to learn how to make them.
Plus folding the napkins. My SIL use to work at a hotel and he knew how to make all those napkins, so he could help my DD when she got stuck on one of them. I never knew he could do that.


Going to be 99 today, yesterday they said 95 but now they upped it. One more hot day tomorrow then back down to the 80's and by the end of the week our lows at night will be in the 40's Sounds like winter already.

Not much else happening here today.

I am going to hibernate this afternoon when it gets too hot.

Will check back later today. I am off to check back on Jeff's report and see what he has added.

Going to be another hot one here 108 today and tomorrow. See it was nice in June and now we are paying for it. Should be going into the low 100s by next week

we were 99 yesterday and will be about the same today, then down to the 70's by the weekend. Maybe even a sprinkle of rain on sunday, so heading to the fair on saturday.

Thats easy, do what we use to do.
Book now to guarantee you get the category you want, then rebook on board to get the discount and room credit.

They will have to cancel and rebook you but you can keep the same room.

We have done this many times in the past!!!

See now thats not so hard to do!!!

we just booked when onboard and got the same cabin for both so we don't have to move. If you are doing the back-to-back, I'd book now just through DCL - not a travel agent -- and then when you are onboard in Dec. just "rebook" same thing to get the discount and onboard credit - and then transfer to your agent after you do that rebooking for the other stuff you get from your agent.

Hmm.. I have on hold the same two staterooms for both cruises. My travel agent is awesome. They told me to wait and book onboard, but I like the fact we have the same rooms.

Do you keep you luggage in the room on back to backs? How does this work? Do we get off to pass customs and then go right back on, or do we have to wait in line with everyone else at the port?

If you have the same rooms, you could just leave your luggage in there, only thing is they won't let you in them until 1pm. As far as getting off, from what I have read (don't know if it will change on the Dream) they will walk you off, go through customs and then you get right back on. So we should have the ship to ourselves for a little while. It's like having another sea day.

Thanks everyone for the Birthday wishes for DD!!! We had a wonderful day with her after school. We went out to dinner and then for ice cream and after that, went and saw the new Nanny McPhee movie. We all LOVED it! It was a great night!

Last time we saw both your girls all over the ship and CC. They stopped and talked with us many times. it was like they were joined together. You never saw one without the other one
So they need to both be there this time too, including their parents!!

Morning everyone

It's been a busy, crazy day at work and I've only been here an hour and a half. Thank goodness it's my Friday...I already need a drink.

It looks like the gangs all here!

Kathy, send your cool weather my way. I've about had my fill of hot tempts for this year. Not looking forward to snow, but 70 degrees would be nice.

Kids are all getting ready for school to start. In the history of our area we've never started school this late before. Normally everyone is in school around Aug. 20, so to start on Sept. 1st is kinda strange?! So far I'm really enjoying the late start....the kids still get out of school the end of May and all the holidays are intact, so I don't really see a "downside" to this?

Holly got a hold of the scissors again and cut her own hair. She did the same thing right after Christmas and it had almost grown out, but we're back to square one again. I swear I can't take my eyes off that child for a second!

Extreme makeover home addition was here this past week building a new home for a family that lost their house in a fire. Should be interesting to see it when it airs on tv.....whenever that is?
