Evening all:

Well we are having hurricane type weather here.....we had winds up to 75 miles an hour....sky is pretty dark...tress are bending over...pouring buckets.....tornado warning and sitings.... ahhhhhh gotta love summer!! but at least my garden is doing well and I had to only water twice since planting.....


Other than that not much else is going on.

Yep, we'll be about 106 next week, but with only 6% humidity. It fine as long as you don't go outside cause the sun will burn your skin off

Looks like rain moving in here! It has been about a few weeks since we have had a good steady rain. I guess the wet winter and the wet May is leaving us dry for the rest of the summer

Hi Everyone! We've been back from WDW for a week and I finally feel recovered enough to come back to the boards. We had a great time! But man was it HOT! No matter how much I read about the heat in the summer, I still underestimated it. To be fair, they were saying that they were setting record high temperatures. I guess that was to make up for the record lows when we were there last year in January.

Sophie had a fabulous birthday at MK and 1900 Park Fair. She wore her birthday button and was thrilled when people all up and down Main Street wished her a happy birthday. She was a big chicken when it came to rides, but she is only 4, so it's OK.

Leah rode Splash Mountain for the first time (twice) as well as Kali River Rapids. She loved both of them.

We also had a great time at Mickey's Backyard BBQ. Leah got to lead the Locomotion with Minnie and Sophie got a whole dance with Mickey.

We met all sorts of characters over the week, including the new bear from Toy Story 3 (which I cried all the way through, BTW). I will post a few pictures from the trip once I get them all uploaded. Hope everyone is doing well.

I got my cruise packet just before we left and I can't wait to go through it and start planning the next adventure.

welcome back, sounds like you guys had a great time.

We were in WDW last Oct. The week we were there, they were having record highs. It was miserable. Of course we still had a good time but we just couldn't stay in the parks all day. We kept taking an afternoon break for a nap and a shower.

Evening all:

Crazy weekend....had Luna carpet back today to fix the seam in my carpet...well you cant see the seam hardly, but you can now see the tape markes...I am not happy about this at all......the seam is right in the middle of my room so its very visable.
Was going to get some yard work done today, but that never happended and its so hot & muggy out I dont even want to be out there.

Well 2.5 wks and my daughter and grandaughter will be here. I am so looking forward to seeing Izzy.....now working on my guest list and menu when she's here....family and friends are coming over....it should be a fun day.

I just got back from our 8 day camping trip.
It was a lot of fun.

I am pooped!! Just did 9 loads of dusty, filthy laundry.

Would have loved to have gone camping but would hate to do the laundry...LOL

DH and i are going on a MINI vacation this coming up weekend for our 14yr anniversary. We are going to Nashville, not sure what all is open right now... i just hope Opry Mills has opened back up. I need to make a trip to the Bath and Body works Outlet store!!!!! We got a room down town so we can see the fireworks over the river!!!!

Morning gang,
well today we have beautiful sunshine. I am down to my last rug to wash and let dry today and will finally be done with laundry.

Greg and Pete will be washing the quads and truck today but I am gong to relax all I can. I think I need a vacation to recover from vacation.
I will try and get photos down loaded soon to share.


I will try to go back and read the posts i missed later today.

Got to go and buy some food.

We, it is time to work on school work....anyone want to do some of it for me......this is week 3 of 10....i have 5 more projects to do and I will be edge-a-macadted. I will have my BS in Criminal Justice!!!

well I went to the store and got a call that a swarm of bees had surrounded our RV. My adult son was in the RV. He called the office and a host came and looked to see what was happening.

eventually they stopped in the tree by the door to the RV. The swarm was the size of a football

We had to stay in the truck when I returned. They called an exterminator. Couldnt get someone who wanted to keep the bees today. So he sprayed them and thousands died and others flew out of the tree.

They figured they were migrating and when the queen gets tired she will land and the entire swarm will stop with her. He didnt think he got the queen, just part of the swarm so they would move away. I hope thats true because honey bees are disappearing lately.

I saw hundreds fly off to the end of the park and buzz around so hopefully they will all fly away now.
we are all safe and in the RV. But we look closely before going outside.

Good morning everyone,

well it looks like a nice day today. Suppose to be 75 today

No sign of bees today, so hopefully they found the queen and the survivors flew off.

After Greg gets home after work we will clean the quads, truck and outside of the RV. Thats all thats left to clean up. We would have it all done but didnt want to get stung yesterday.


Now i will go back and read what I missed last week.

Where is everyone???

Well I am here. The weather is cloudy but suppose to be 75 again today which is great.

Looks like i may have a new dog sitter. Depends on how the dogs do now and if they like her. I have been looking for 4 months.

Sure hope this works out. We do have 10 days at WDW this December plus would love to get out to see a movie now and then.

So we shall see. I wont leave them on a holiday weekend but will take them soon for a visit and temperment evaluation.

Not much else happening here. I do have photos downloaded now but i need to put some on photobucket so I can share them.

I'm here, just been busy with my house getting replumbed. My entire house it being torn apart so I have a very little space to sit and watch TV. It's very dusty in here too. At least the water was turned back on last night. It is not fun but something we have to do. Can't wait to go back to work on Thursday.
