Thats so exciting when its the first cruise.
We have lots of experienced cruisers on this thread so please ask any questions you might have, we are happy to help.

We are hoping to do this cruise, if so it will be #21 on DCL for us.
Hubby is Greg and kids are grown so its just us cruising.

I havnt done Halloween at sea yet but its my understanding on past cruises they had a costume party for adults at night and a small trick or treat for the kids.We had been discussing a bit about this thread doing a special trick or treat for our kids on this cruise that evening.
For a specific hour certain people would be in their rooms and the kids would come just ot those designated cabins for extra treats.

Welcome Cynthia, nice to know your name.

We have one family group of 30 on this cruise, it would be great if you could get that many.

We always have a meet on board the first day for everyone to get aquainted too. Lots of fun. Many of us have cruised together, 2, 3 and for some this will be the 4th time together.We are one big bunch of Bananaheads and now you and your family are also bananaheads.

Which means we are all a bit crazy, kind of an a peeling group of nanas Yep we are a crazy bunch alright!!

what city and state do you and your family come from?

I am in Oakland Oregon.
In the middle of farm country.

You can look me up on the map. I am just off I-5 freeway that goes down the middle of the state. I am south of the center of the state aways.
I am surrounded by hills and farms.

I imagine your in a city?

HAHA sounds great my mom and dad just got back from their first disney cruise may 16 -may 20 on the wonder for their 15th anniversary and they met up with some people from the board. they said they had a great time.

This cruise will be all new for them since this is a new ship that nobody has ever been on.

Usually we have more people posting but many are busy for the holiday weekend.

Have you ever been to Walt Disney World?

I love it there!!
Until 2 years ago we lived near there and we went there 3 or 4 times a month, sometimes more.
Wea re going to visit there this December to celebrate our anniversary.

What is your favorite 3 rides in each park?
I bet you like the scary ride


Let's see, I have so many favorite,
Magic Kingdom is the Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean and of course The Country Bears. It si my favorite park.

Animal Kingdon>

Safari ride and then the Khali river raft ride followed by the Dinosaur ride.

Hollywood studios:

Gosh this is hard.
I love the muppets, Indiana Jones, New Toy Story Mania

Epcot, well this is my least favorite park although I like it very much.

Never done soarin ro test teack , they looked too scary for this old lady

So I think the Universe of Energy ride, Space ship earth and Honey I shrunk the kids which is no longer there.

Blizzard beach is the best water park

Winter/Summer land is the best mini golf course.

Those are my favorites.

WOW theres so many to choose from!

Magic Kingdom is also my fav!
in there i like Splash Mountain, Its a small world (my parents were engaged infront of that ride ) and i also like the haunted mansion, Did you notice the ring that was in the concrete is now in the ride??

I like the New ride Expedition everest , Primeval Whirl and Kilimanjaro safari too!

Mgm (Hollywood studios )
I like Rockin' roller coaster, Muppets and the new toy story ride

And for epcot (which i personally love lol)
Sorin' Test track and the Imagination ride

Nobody here is going before this sail date, however once the ship is actually cruising look at the trip reports section and people will write reports and post lots of photos when they return. Thats the place to look for photos.
We will all be checking that out when the time comes!!!!

well our rain has returned. It poured all night and is suppose to be here all week I can't wait for summer!!
