Morgan and i held us up over the weekend but we still got on page 2


Cloudy and cold but NO rain today so that should be nice. However the rain is coming soon. Maybe we will use the BBQ today. Better than getting the kitchen dirty.

Greetings.
Busy weekend as always around here. Lizzie had a swim meet all weekend and she beat times in 3 of her events including taking 4 second off her time in the 50 meter free and nearly 5 seconds off her 50 meter breast stroke time. I'm a proud dad.

As most of you know we are building an inground pool and they are dangerously close to having it done. We can't wait. Kids are jumping out of their skin.

Work is busy busy busy but I need to take a day or two off this week to get caught up and get things together.

Less than 3 more weeks of school left for the kids. I think we're all ready for the year to be over. Then the week after that we head off to WDW for a nice long weekend trip.

I'm here, but we've had a massively busy weekend and now I'm getting ready to head out for the day and visit my great aunt. Supposedly it will take us almost 2 hours to get there, but I'm afraid it will be more with race traffic this weekend... I was NOT thinking when I planned this visit! Indy is just going to be packed this weekend... Oh well! DH knows how to avoid the race traffic on the interstates I hope!


Hope everyone is having an enjoyable weekend and hope it's sunny for everyone!

Oh yeah, we know all about race traffic here. This year my DH catered for some of the vendor at NACAR. The first day he was there and back in an hour, the next day it took him 3 hours just to get there, it's always such a nightmare. Hope you were able to avoid it.

Had a great weekend. Went to a bridal shower on Saturday and then dinner. The wedding is next weekend in Laguna Can't wait for a mini vacation.

Since we are going to Laguna next weekend, we don't have much planned for this one. I do have a 4 day weekend so I am sure we will be busy swimming and bbq and resting. If it ever warms up, it was 50 this morning

WOW, Lizzy is turning into Wonder Woman taking that many seconds off her times. Tell her I said WOW! I am proud of her.

Once she gets to be in your pool she will get even faster!!!
You'll love having your own pool. We have had 2 of them while in Forida.So nice to sit out and maybe have a BBQ around the deck , then after all the tummies are settled go for a cool refreshing dip in the pool.


well back to looking for a dog sitter for the girls. I cant seem to find one i approve of close to us. I need to find one by the end of July so they can get aquainted before our trip to WDW in December.

Back from Colorado....short n sweet trip....had a great time with the baby all weekend...she is such a sweetie....
But my desk tells the tale that no one was able to touch anything on my desk so I am swamped today.....then I have to go grocery shopping tonite....Oh well

Glad to hear you had a good time in Colorado.

Things have been busy around here also. Chayce starts drivers ed. a week from tomorrow. Both Chayce and Brayden are testing for their next belt ranks in Karate next month. Chayce is going for his 3rd degree black belt and Brayden is testing for his yellow belt.
I was teasing Chayce the other day while I was helping him practice....I told him once he gets his 3rd degree we have to register his hands as lethal weapons with the FBI. He says "really" and his eyes got really big and I could see that look on his face of utter satisfaction knowing that he his the most awesome Kung Foo master on planet earth......after about 6 seconds of that I couldn't hold it together anymore and I starting laughing so hard I think I pulled something!

Sorry all, not gunna post much tonight but I haven't been on here in almost 2 days...

It was over 90 and sunny here today and humid and muggy so of COURSE my DH decided today was the day to mow the yard and do massive amounts of tree trimming and yard work. I'm fried to a crisp on my shoulders and arms but the yard work is done, the kids and I went and played at the neighbors and they went to bed with out a single lick of trouble for 2 nights now, which is rare!

Ok, that's all I trust myself to type since I got so hot today I can't even think straight. Will post about the Indy trip tomorrow. Hope everyone had a great weekend and it kinda sounds like it by the posts!

Denise, I think adopted dads cruise may interfere with my 10 days at WDW, so he may just have to book another cruise to take me on as a reward for keeping us bumped up.

Hi everyone! Been really busy lately since the weather here has been nice! Getting a lot of yard work done that we never did last summer when we bought the house, but it will all eventually be done.
Anyone have any plans for Memorial Day weekend? We are heading up north to Houghton Lake on Saturday and then coming home on Monday.
Only about three weeks til we will be in Florida and Disney World!! Can't wait!

No plans this weekend. Normal we stay at a hotel on the strip but we have a wedding to go to in Laguna next weekend so we are just staying at home.

Nope, no plans for the weekend either...probably just do my normal trek into Chicago to visit my dad and thats about it.

Maybe finish planting our garden....just happy to have an extra day to "sleep in".

No plans here either. Way too many people out this weekend.
I may try to go to Salem to visit my mom and hopefully my DD will meet me there so I can say hello to her too. Now they are saying cold and cloudy but no rain so maybe we can at least have a BBQ.


For now I am sitting watching it pour rain.

The first weekend of June starts Rose festival, I think? That is huge in Oregon. I dont go but I do wach the parade on TV. I am just hoping it doesnt dump rain on the parade.

Boy a slow day around here today. Had a staff meeting at lunch today, so it took up all my lunch time...no computer fun time for me today.

Nothing really going on here. Kathy sorry to hear about all your rain....its been really nice here in the 80's and talking a really nice weekend here...at least until monday afternoon then they are talking rain.

Morning eveyone

Just another quiet day here. We are supposed to be getting more wind today and it will be way below normal today and tomorrow but than it looks like summer will finally get her on Monday.

For those of you who are not on Facebook, DCL has been releasing information about the Dream almost weekly now. You should check it out. It's not much but at least it's something.
