So excited just confirmed that the 2-night cruise will get me to gold We are all booked. The deposit was $400 and the total cost of the trip was $458 so we just paid off the whole thing.

Should be intersting to see how they handle the dining and entertainment.

Well its off to the start of a new week.
We are starting with a nasty rain storm hitting us today and will stay for 2 or 3 days then we are suppose to be dry the rest of the week. I sure hope they are right. I got spoiled by the nice weekend.

Not much happening here today.

I got the furniture repaired yesterday. I was suprized it looks pretty good. I hope it stays that way for awhile. I really dont want to have to buy new furniture for here.

I am sure it will be pretty casual (and cold) so maybe only 4 or 5

I got a sideways inside cabin, from what I have read a lot of people are booking the inside cabins so I wonder if we will get upgraded?

I will keep fingers croseed you get an upgrade.

I am sure they wont have a full ship for 2 day cruise. Most people on the West coast will want a longer cruise since it will be all new to them or not want to pay more for a balcony for such a short cruise. So that may up your chances.

I have heard many people like the sideways cabins. I have never had one but i bet they are nice. It would be fun to have a different type cabin for a change.

thank goodness only 4 more days and off to colorado.... I'm thinking of asking to get off at noon on friday...I have to get the house in order as my son will be staying here for a few days to watch Jack...plus I want to make sure all my packing is done...we have a 6am flight and I want to get to bed early and get a little sleep...need to be on the road by 3am...which means up around 1:30am.... So I should be in bed around 5pm...

Weather was cool today....sunny but cool.....looking forward to getting back into thoes 60's & 70's....

Denise - have a great trip


I'm starting to get really excited for my trip this weekend. I can't believe it's been over a year since I have been to DL. We used to have annual passes and go 6 times a year...stupid economy. I don't know what Joey is more excited about DL, Yankee Game or having dinner at Chick-Fil-A. We don't have them here but we found one that's on our way to DL so that's what we are doing on Thursday night.

Howdy everyone,

Denise I know that feeling of needing to sleep but having to get up so early to catch a flight. We did that last year. Almost the same hours you are going. I was hoping to nap on the plane but that didnt seem to work out so I was exhausted to start the trip which wasnt fun.

Its pouring rain today and all night. Supposidly we will have 4 dry days after today. I wont believe it until it happens but it sure would be nice.

It is so boring this morning i am watching the movie They Live!
Oh so scary It is a high budget film from 1988 starring an ex wrestler Roddy Piper. I dont know if I will be able to stomach the entire show or not.

We had a great time down in Park City. We're so water logged from swimming it will takes weeks for us to "dry out"!

Our temperature at home yesterday was 84! Two weeks ago we came back from our cruise and landed in a blizzard that dumped 6 inches of snow...... and now its 85 degree?!

Kathy, I'm glad your keeping all that rainy weather over your way...you really are to kind!

Denise, going to Colorado again?! I'm jealous...I wish I could vacation as much as you.

Christine, the cruise to no where sounds fun. Was the $458 the total cost or is that per person? Allegiant air just started non stop service from Idaho Falls to Los Angeles for $49, so I'm thinking of the possibilities?

That price is total cost for a cat 11 inside. We didn't book a balcony because it's going to be cold, so why waste the money. If you are thinking about it act fast the cheap cabin are filling up fast. There are at least 30 rooms on our board alone.

My internet has been down all morning. I am so glad its finally up and running.

I made maple rolls today and the dough is still rising.

The rain has finally stopped and the sun is shinning although only 50 degrees.
