Now Greg is a cattle rancher?:lmao:
How many jobs is that now including being a spy??

Kathy

Ummm, I'm from Idaho. Being a cowboy/cattle rancher goes with the territory!

I like to think of myself as being very diversified......or maybe I just have adult attention deficit syndrome and can't stand doing the same job over and over everyday?! :rotfl2:

My son's girlfriend broke up with him the day after christmas. they were together for 3 years and bought a townhome together. it came as a complete shock to him and me also as we thought things were going well with them. turns out she "found" another boyfriend....so my son is trying to get through this and deal with putting the townhome up for sale....so this little side trip to see his siter and niece is just what he needs. I feel so bad for him....but I'm totally enjoying his company, he comes over after work and we sit and talk....so we are both looking forward to our trip.

I was trying to get them to come with on this cruise, but I guess there will be a change of plans.....but who knows, maybe he may come afterall....:confused3
:banana::banana::banana:

Yep, that's a tough one!!.....usually its the men who end up being the jerks!

Women SUCK!

yep some do.....should I ask her for the gift back I got her for christmas??

Yep, that's a tough one!!.....usually its the men who end up being the jerks!

true....but there are some women out there that are jerks too....however, I am not in that catagory:rolleyes1

:banana::banana::banana:

That may be true but your not going to be a cow poke in Idaho, your going clear to Mexico to play cowboy.:confused3
Are the U.S. cowboys too tough for you to work with:lmao:
Remember they are not all John Wayne types;)

I am also in cowboy country. I was raised with cowboys all over the place. Lots of great rodeos here too.:thumbsup2

Have fun playing cowboy tomorrow.:woohoo:

Apparently it's cheaper to raise cattle in Mexico, so that's where my cousin's cattle ranch is.

I'm mainly flying down with him because he wanted the company. I don't plan on getting my hands very dirty because my arthritis is just to painful.

It will be nice to get warmed up even if it is only for a day. :woohoo:

morning everyone,

still pouring rain here:confused:

suppose to have some sun this afternoon.
i hope they are right.

Today is :laundy:.

later,
Kathy

I'm here.....

Got off work at noon today....I have to work saturday...

So I have been watching a baby story and now on the computer.

Nothing much going on here. Nice and sunny today and in the 30's.

Actually going to the show tonite with a few girls from work...going to see its compliacated....heard it was pretty good and funny.

Wonder how Greg's cowpoking day is going!!:scared1::laughing:

Have a good one all

:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

If it was a good gift that you want I say YES!!!!!

just a bottle of perfum from victoria secret.....i have plenty of perfum she can keep it....

it just made me mad that she did this the day after christmas and totally blindsided him....
personally I'm not that upset about it....I was not overly fond of her....but I just feel bad for my son and what he is going thru right now.

:banana::banana:

oh how we'd would love to be in the Bahamas right now! My hubby's away on business (i'm usually the one who travels) in Minnesota and it's windy and rainy here in Portland. I could use some sunshine. Hope you all have had a great 2010 so far.

We've hit a bump with my husbands ex, we just hope we can get our daughter through it!

Melissa,
we are neighbors. I didnt notice you were from Portland Oregon.:goodvibes

I was born and raised in Milwaukie and most of my family is in Salem and Silverton Oregon. I am now half way between Cottage Grove and Roseburg just off I-5.

I go to Salem often to visit my mom at Brookstone a facility for dimentia patients and my DDs are in Salem and Tigard. Which as you know is right next to Portland.;)

Were about in Portland are you located?

We got the rain and wind all day with no breaks here. They said some sunbreaks but we never got any, maybe tomorrow?

Its so great to find someone from Oregon here. This is a first for me. Everyone is California or Washington it seems.

Kathy

Wow Kathy!!! I had no idea you were from Oregon too! It is very rare to find someone from our beautiful state!

We just were in Roseburg in November! I live in NW Portland (on the westside of the Sylvan). We've been here for about 6 years and love the area! I'm tired of the rain, but I've lived in the Northwest all my life. My hubby and I will be moving to Camarillo CA (where I work) when our kids graduate from high school.

I'm sorry about your mom, my grandfather had dimentia and it was very difficult!

I can't wait to cruise, will you guys fly out of Portland? And OMG I'm jealous for all the cruises you've been on!

Good morning everyone.

I made it back last night. Nothing like traveling over 3000 miles into another country in less then 12 hours, but then when your flying at over 620mph at 50,000 feet....we made good time! :rotfl2:

We had about 72 degrees at the ranch and around 83 when we landed in Cabo. We were short on time, so we only spent about 3 hours in Cabo....I could of stayed there a couple of weeks, it was beautiful! :cloud9:

I was worried that all the horse back riding we did at the ranch would really hurt my hands and arms, but surprisingly they feel pretty good this morning. :thumbsup2 Its my rear end that hurts! :rotfl:

Well, I'd better get unpacked and plow out the driveway. I returned home to snow!

As some of you know, Elizabeth and I are headed to WDW for a daddy-daughter weekend on the 22nd. We are staying at the Poly and have a plan to just commando cover 3 parks (MK, EP and DHS). It's supposed to be a relatively slow time so we are going to get up early and stay out late. The good news is that extra magic hours at the MK start at 8 p.m.! We always seem to be there when it goes from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. Doing it from 8 -11 p.m sounds very do-able!!!!

The GREAT news is that the weather is turning in Florida. It is supposed to be in the upper 70s with mostly sunshine while we are there. Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Busy busy day here. Tons of work, potential new business, swim team later and a weekend birthday party for Emily coming up.

Happy Thursday to all.

jeff

Melissa,

If we manage this trip we will be flying out of PDX, probably on the day before the cruise and spend the night at the Hyatt in Orlando or go a few days early to spend in the parks first. Yes we have done alot of cruises but thats because we lived almost 9 years on Florida. We got great disocunts and it was so close to home it was easy to do. We came back to Oregon about 18 months ago with plans to return but then my mom became very ill and so we are staying until who knows now?
We sold our home but when the time is right we can always buy again.
I know the Sylan area. Its very nice. One of my brothers lives in Aloha and I had an aunt who lived in Beaverton and surrounding areas that we use to visit every weekend. :goodvibes

Greg,

glad your trip went well for you. I know about the "day after" soreness from horse back riding.:lmao: Go and relax in the hot tub or whirlpool bath tub if you have one. It really helps:thumbsup2

Jeff,

Boy you got lucky on your timing with Elizabeth. Florida's weather has really been terrible. We have many friends there and they have all lost many shrubs and the underground sprinkler systems have all froze up and need new pipes.
They just arnt prepared for that kind of cold there.
Be sure and bring us some good pictures!!

Gotta run,
on my way to the vet this morning. Both dogs need a shot and pixie has something growing on her frotn left leg. Looks like a tumor and its all red. I am praying its not cancerous.
Back later,

Kathy

Jeff - sounds like an awesome trip.

Melissa - hope you get though everything OK:grouphug:

Mutt - of course I have looked at excusions but I haven't started packing just yet:rolleyes1

Everyone else
