Afternoon:

Kathy, she is beautiful.....they are so precious at that age.

Well I went to Chicago today to visit my dad....let the house a little after 7am and the temp was zero......it was friggin cold out there....of course I had to stop and get gas. But it is starting to warm up some out here, I think we are supposed to reach 17 today....

Not much going on here, good time at my "holiday" party last nite....so going to do and just chill the rest of the day.

Hi all,

I left early this morning to grocery shop, get the oil changed in the truck, started laundry which Greg finished for me, had to stop by Petco too, so I was about 5 hours. I am very tired now.


I am sooo glad all that work is done now I can relax for a bit.
Pups are sleeping so its nice and quiet here.

Kathy - I was having a hard time last year of not going to WDW during Christmas too but then we spent time at the Food and Wine Festival and the Halloween party and I actually think I liked it more...even though it was 500 million degrees out. That's why I am taking this cruise in Oct. I want to spend a few days at F&WF and maybe even the Halloween Party again.

What a beautiful baby girl. Seems like just moments ago when I held my two little ones like that.

Had a great swim meet this weekend. Lizzie matched her times in two events and dropped time in five events, including six plus seconds in two 100-yard events.

Snow has finally stopped. Hopefully for the rest of the winter.

That's why I am taking this cruise in Oct. I want to spend a few days at F&WF and maybe even the Halloween Party again.

We did the food and wine festival this last november. It was fun and we have done it 5 or 6 other times.

We have penty of time to decide on what to do for sure

Sounds like a great swim meet. Anytime she do that well is great!!

Just wait before you know it your girls will be out of high school, in college and then married and having families of their own. It happens over night

My oldest grandaughter is working, in college and is engaged, now thats a scary thought that really makes me feel old

We are rainy still and mid 40's so not too bad.
Gotta make appts for the pups to get a shot and to check out a growth on Pixies front leg.
I may make a stew or spaghetti today for dinner, that will be the big decision of the day for me

Beautiful day here in Idaho. The sun is shinning and it looks like our cold weather is moving out. No more -15 degree tempts....at least for a while.

I'm caught up on work, so I'm just taking today off and plan on going to get a massage this afternoon.

Yes it is very quiet but than again we do have a little less than 2 years to go so I am sure we will get tons more people once it gets closer and once the come out with more info on the ship. Has anyone heard when they will be releasing more info?????

I havnt heard anything new about the Dream and her crusies yet. Greg really watches for that kinds of things and he tells me if I miss it. I will pass on anything I might hear,

Christine, I'm with you......I would love to be on a cruise right now......actually I would love to be anywhere but here right now!!!

Well I think I have like 41 days till I head to Colorado....I'm very excited my son is coming along....it will be fun to have my kids for a few days together.
My son's girlfriend broke up with him the day after christmas. they were together for 3 years and bought a townhome together. it came as a complete shock to him and me also as we thought things were going well with them. turns out she "found" another boyfriend....so my son is trying to get through this and deal with putting the townhome up for sale....so this little side trip to see his siter and niece is just what he needs. I feel so bad for him....but I'm totally enjoying his company, he comes over after work and we sit and talk....so we are both looking forward to our trip.

I was trying to get them to come with on this cruise, but I guess there will be a change of plans.....but who knows, maybe he may come afterall....

Well gotta run and get some work done.....not to bad of a day here.....

I'm here! Just been busy trying to pack a few things. I'm going on a day trip to Mexico tomorrow!

My cousin called and wanted some help on their cattle ranch down in Mexico . I said if it involved a ride in their private jet to count me in! Plus the warmer weather will feel nice!

We'll leave early tomorrow morning and be back home in the evening. They were going to make a stop in Cabo on the way home if there's time....here's hoping!

It would be good for your son to still go on the cruise. Its something to look forward to. Everyone needs to have something to look forward to especially in hard times. Good luck to him. He will get through this and move on but it will take time. Neen through very similar situation with my son.
