We were up in the balcony.....But would have rather been nelow i think.

Although we did get a good view of everything witout haveing to look around peoples heads! ( i hate having to do that)

The time ashore (Sunday) at Key West is 12:30 - perhaps a PJ breakfast could work then? :surfweb:

hang in there - now that (I think) I have the question clearer - someone will know the answer . . . :confused3

There will be at least one table service Resturant open each morning normally around 7 or 7:30 for about two hours for breakfast. Topsiders is always open as well.

Then for lunch there will always be at least one table service open normally around 11:30 AM again for about two hours. Again Topsiders will be another options.

If you don't remember what was in the navigator you just need to stop by guest services they will have the current one posted or ask almost any CM. I hope this is at least part of the information that ypou need to allow you to enjoy more of the Disney Magic.

Happy New Year!!! After midnight we can all say we are cruising THIS year!!! Lois

It has been a while, just wanted to pop in and wish everybody a Happy New Year!

Christmas was great, all is well, looking forward to the cruise!

Hi,

How is everyone doing? Sorry that I haven't been on for a really long time. It has just been busy around here and I am hoping to get on a lot more now that things are slowing down some. Welcome to all the new families that have joined our group. We are really excited for this cruise and can't wait!!!!!!. Warm weather sound so nice right now, since we are having such cold weather here in Wisconsin.

I am also 26 weeks pregnant right now and am expecting our 5th child around Easter time. We are all getting very excited!

By the way, I ws going through some of the last posts and was wondering what a PJ Breakfast is. Has there been any talk of a group meet yet ( I may have missed it) I know it is 10 months out, but it is getting closer:thumbsup2

Looking forward to chatting with everyone more.

Vicki

I also hope that everyone has a safe and Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!:goodvibes Hopefully 2010 will be a good year for everyone!:thumbsup2

A PJ Breakfast is an activity where those who want meet at a set time and place and eat breakfast in public in our PJ together. Can be a lot of fun.

Happy New Year Everyone!!!party:

I'm glad to see that I wasn't the only one who has been A.W.O.L. for a while.
Things have been pretty tight toward the end of the year, but I am hoping the new year brings new opportunities. I am hoping things will improve in the employment department and I can continue with my cruising plans.:goodvibes

One of my resolutions is to be more active on the Disboards. A couple of months ago I was busy helping my siblings prepare for their Nov. Double Dip cruise. With all the work I did for them, one would think I was going with them. Now it's time for me to focus on my own cruise!:thumbsup2 (hopefully without having to cancel at the last minute).

I hope everyone made it into the new year safe, happy and healthy... now let's get this party started! After all, we ARE cruisin' this year!:cool1:

( i know i have those moments daily...I used to contribute it to blond hair...now i dont have blond hair,so all i can think is Old age)

I'm in between watching college football bowl games so here goes my quick post response / update:
" PJ Breakfast is an activity where those who want meet at a set time and place and eat breakfast in public in our PJ together. Can be a lot of fun"

Ok....on the PJ breakfast, for those who want to sign up, please let me know your preference (AND I NEED & WILL KEEP AN UPDATED LIST) of either a sit down breakfast or a buffet style breakfast.
If your preference is sit down breakfast, then I need you to please pm me or post here your rotation dining time (early or late) and your name as I then need to forward this onto DCL. Please keep inmind that I don't know if this will change your rotation dining so I need to find this out. Just a bear with me on this one (gheesh! where's my Dr. Pepper!).
If it is a buffet style, please let me know your preferences and I will also keep an updated listing as well.

As we get closer (oh..say deadline by approx April or May), I will then give out a final answer based upon the majority of the DISsers who gave posted their preferences. Hope this method is ok with ya - hey I am just the messenger but yes - I do welcome suggestions.:hippie:

2) Dizzi: Embarkation day (day one) at the Goofy Pool - before dinner...after sail away.

where??

okey-dokey everyone, I am working with multiple things here (PJ breakfast, meet & greet, my shore excursions, etc) so should I miss something, please feel free to chime in with a suggestion.

P.S. Just check out the first post, Janice (Disney-Cruiser) has done a wonderful job summarizing everything there as a quick & easy point of reference. No big decisions made yet, aside from Dis-o-Treat which is on Monday 11/1 at 10 AM (we have not finalized the format of that get together yet). Ok...if I have missed anyones name or "Goofed" up something (Goofy is my fav character) please let me know as I plan on referencing this post from now on as the list grows.
Yes, I do have my opinion on this but I am choosing to sit on the sidelines for a bit to see what others have to say as I feel that is a much better way to appoach this as all I wanna do is have a rockin' good ol' Disney time out on that big ol' boat:goodvibes:goodvibes.
That & :woohoo:.....only approx 160 more days & Toy Story 3 is released!

will catch up with all of you again once to twice a week with updates!:hippie:

Actually I am good with it being on Key West Day, since we are coming into port so late. IMO that actually may be better and open up Thursday for Palo Brunch for those who may not be able to make it on Monday due to D'OT.

Speaking of....for those who have done this itinerary before (I have done the Western but it was a Double Dip- No KW) i thought I read somewhere back in the day that Palo Brunch was also available on Sunday (KW day). Is that true?

(It doesn't change my opnion for PJ breakfast but I am just curious.) What time do you all say for PJ BK? Earlier would work fine since we don't have to oh..get dressed or anything! ;) 8:30? 9:00? or earlier?

Where would all of you like to see the PJ jammin get together take place??

I love the Goofy pool idea...the deck should still be fairly sparsely populated that early in the morning. And since we are dressed down - LOL- I say we keep it casual! (plus that's just less work for both us and DCL)....JMO

On the Meet & greet:

1) nenner1: did i read correctly from 12-30 that u dont mind embark day?
2) dizzi: same with you from 12-30-09 posting?

Oh yes, I prefer it. :goodvibes

Well, usually the Promenade Lounge is the location du jour. We had one there and it was fine (if a bit dark). I have seen groups that have their meet up on deck 10 at the sailaway party too. That might be chaotic (but likely FUN!) I have seen group pictures in the atrium stairs (good location for a big gang) and also out on deck at the back of the ship (that was a cool pic- but probably not as easy of a venture to undertake). There's a couple of ideas...what else can you guys come up with?

Both meet and greets i have done have been at Goofy Pool....day one...early
before dinner...after sail away.

FE Update in post 1420!

We're rocking now, added 4 more families :cool1:!!

Thanks for adding us....I was so excited to see our names officially on a list!!!!
I'm already having a hard time sleeping, all I can think about is what were going to give as our FE gift and the excitement of walking thru those mickey ears and boarding the ship:cool1:

I just cant get enough disney right now. I might need to go on an earlier cruise just so I can make it to oct... ( just need to talk DH into it...haha)

Happy New Year!
