Is any one going to be in Disney world during Halloween weekend?

It appears from reading the prior posting that many of us will be on property before the cruise. We haven't decided how many days yet, but we will be at BCV. Probably 3 or 4 days.

Not in Disney, but I'll be close. I'll be down in Sarasota for the Ultimate Frisbee Nationals, supporting my son's team.

I'm going this weekend, and Lynn (Dizzi) is leaving I think Sun and she will be there next weekend.

Thanks! I have no idea where any of those places are tho - we have only been here a year. And most of our exploring has been more in the central FL region

Armwood is over by the Cracker Barrel on I-4. Where- I might add- we start all of our vacations.

Okay - tell me how you did it! If you have a minor child - under 13 - how did you get them their own log in ID for DIS? DD wants to join the kids thread - but wants to do so under her own name (those 11 year olds! So independent!) So... we created her account last week - the permission slip prints out - and we tried to fax - and tried and tried. Then... after posting - some kind soul took pity on me and said that the fax number had not worked in "years" - and provided the link to the threads to prove the fact. Kind soul also gave me an email address to send my request - no response. I've posted to the Technical Thread (no response), to the Newbie thread (no response). So... who takes care of this - is it a lost cause? Do I now have a 13 year old ? Just wondering what to do?!?!

SchimJ and I will be joining you all on this cruise! It will cover his 31st birthday and we are very excited about celebrating Halloween! We have late dinner seating, I think. We are from Brandon, FL which is near Tampa. My favorite characters are Alice, Minnie, Sally, and Jack. DH likes Mickey (especially Sorceror Apprentice), Grumpy, and Goofy.

On the FE......i think the sign up is wonderful.....And i am all for the date...

I would be surprised if anyone objected to late comers being able to join the FE. This group is nothing if not friendly and welcoming.

Hi everyone! I am working on organizing the FE Exchange, what would you say is a good date for the final sign up? I was thinking 8/30/10, as we sail two months later. That should give everyone enough time. We are a large sailing group, so I am anticipating a large number of participants for our FE, I'll post a sign up thread soon!

DW & I will be in WDW the week after Halloween this year...we're taking our first trip to Universal as well (Nov. 1 check-in), then going to BCV from the 2nd thru the 4th, and a 3-night Wonder cruise boarding on the 5th. We just received our cruise docs the other day, so we know the trip is just around the corner, however that means my 30th is as well....EEEK!!!

Cinderella was re-released around this time last year. The one you're thinking of (I would assume) is the Diamond Edition of Snow White. DW found us a great deal on the BluRay/DVD combo pack from amazon.com for it, but we still haven't had a chance to watch it. Maybe tomorrow.

Oh...I would just "have" a 13 y/o. That's probably what I will do for my kids, just create a username for them. After all, they have our permission, so...

We did a walk through of the "fake" bay lake over at SSR, MAN are they sooo awesome.

We are going to Universal too, It is not our first time, and i am wishing that we had chosen WDW, but it was a money issue more than anything. BUT at leat we get the one night in MK for MNSSHP.

ONE YEAR......UGGGHHH i dont think i can wait that long for a cruise,we have been trying every angle though and it just hasnt worked otu for us yet.

Now DD is planning on goign to her Older sisters house FIrst part of June, so maybe just a ME and Dh cruise might happen after all.....
