Hi everyone. I noticed in the roll call on page one, our two teens are included but they aren't coming on the trip with us. Only our two youngest will be coming. Don't know if that info matters right now, but just incase anyone refere to that for FE planning, I thought I'd mention it.

Well, DD18 IS a little miffed, but she's supposed to be in College in September anyways. DS17 is off on a 2 week Europe trip with his school next month, SOoooo, he doesn't mind missing the cruise


ON Another note, I've made this Graphic for us all. Yes, I could have saved it for an FE gift, but I've got something else planned for that. I thought it would be awesome for us all to print this off as a magnet for our doors. I'll probably do mine in a 4x6 or 5x7 size Enjoy!

Both the Dream and Fantasy have contracts keeping them exclusively at PC for a period of time (not sure how long but I think 6 years?)

Dream: expectations are to have it continue the 3/4/5 night itineraries (possibly sticking just to 3/4 night to accomodate land/sea cruisers once the Fantasy comes online.)
Fantasy: all speculation (and at this point no confirmation) is for Fantasy to take up the Magic's 7 night eastern and western caribbean routes when the Magic heads over to the med- or wherever it might go.

While it is possible the Magic could stay, keep in mind the logistics of a third ship in & out of PC would have to be worked out. Parking for more vehicles, days in port, etc. It could be done, though expecially with longer itineraries like southern caribbean for example. IMO however speculation is right on with Europe. They aren't building that office there for nuthin'...
There was a great thread on this while back (around when the itineraries for '11 came out) but this is pretty much the summary of it.

I really couldn't agree more. Since this is our first cruise, its somewhat of a trial run. 3/4 night doesn't suit our style. Initially, though I wasn't all that interested to doing another DCL unless it was when the rest of the family was going after this one, should we like it. HOWEVER, I m always up for trying something new. The Dream enhancements are intriguing, so to say that the Fantasy would have the same sort of Disney love.. then sign me up! That being said, my son is crazy about Sponge Bob. NCL has landed the contract for next 3 years, which would also suit us with the "relaxed" cruise how ya want atmosphere... then again I cold be getting ahead of myself, if this cruise doesn't "hook" us, we may not go on one again.

Leslie is actually keeping the lists. But now that TT is up to 10 I recommend the PM.

LANYARD UPDATE!

Everyone, I am starting to look around for some lanyard designs.

I have found some very reasonably priced ones (around $1/apiece. Thoise are the no-frills type but when dealing with a low quantity order (under 500) prices are higher and many designs are not available in under 500 or 1000/pc orders. So it will be up to us which ones we want- lower priced no frills or somehting more like what I posted way back with the zipper pocket, etc.

If anyone has any suggestions or requests when it comes to that dept. let me know. I will continue to compare what is available and then I will post samples of designs to choose from and prices and we will vote on which ones we want.

Thanks for pointing that out. I did up the start of my FE list on Sunday and noticed that your numbers didn't match - now I can go back and fix my FE list.

I've already started on some of what I'm going to give (I'm finding the women / girls really easy but I'm having a tough time coming up for something to make for the boys) because the list is quite long so I want to ensure that I have time to make enough of everything.

OK, I admit, I am sooo behind here! I have a couple of questions:

1. can someone tell me the different levels of Castaway Club and how many cruises you need to be in the level?

2. When do we need to be in on the TOT? and when you do you need the $$?

3. Is Captain Marvin's excursion good for a 9 year old?
