Hi everyone! We will be cruising with all of you, and are so very happy to be cruising with such a friendly group! It will be myself, my husband, daughter 13 and twin 8 year old boys. We have had this cruise booked for almost two years, and can't believe it is almost here! I would love to have my three kids involved in your tot, and will be happy to contribute, just let me know what. I'm sure they won't mind missing their trick-or-treat to be on the cruise, but it would be nice if they could have both. Looking forward to meeting all of you 9 weeks from tomorrow!

!!!!! We keep growing and growing! Page one is filled with a lot of info, so check it out. I had to do it a few times as there is SO much info! If you'd like your family's photo added to the album, pm it to me in full size, or I can provide you with my email for that. Do you have plans yet for GC? If your family is interested, we have room for only 7 more people on our Captain Marvin's Snorkeling Tour (stingray city included). That info is also on page 1. My boys are 13 and 7 and would love to chat on that kids thread, IF they knew about this trip, But alas, it is a surprise for them. Waiting almost 2 years?? Did you find this summer went fast or slow, with this vacation in the backround? When I hear "9 Weeks away", I start to panic a little, I still have SO much to do!!!!

We are glad to have you sailing with us.

I have added your kids to the ToT list! As it is right now, you are welcome to bring along a candy contribution if it is not a hardship, but it is by no means required. We should have plenty of candy and goodies!

It will be held on 10/31 and we willmeet at 11:00 at the Deck 5 Atrium near Oceaneers Lab. More info will be posted as we get closer!

Soda, water, Alcohol. I think the only stipulation is that you have to carry it on. I know I plan on bring alcohol on for a Peach Sangria(sp?) recipe a friend let my wife and I try. I was hooked! Who doesn't like a little Peach Snapps and Wine?

A direct quote from a DCL rep, "If it fits in your carry on you can bring it on the ship".

I guess you need to save a little space for some bubbly.

Where is spring a leak located on Castaway Cay? I've been looking over the map on page one. Is that the new map? I dont' see the new playstructure or where the 2nd Cookies will be.

There is a Wal*Mart, but I thought the Greatland Target was newer, nicer, and closer. It's about 10 - 15 minutes from port right off of Route 528 (Beachline Expressway) which is the road you take to the port.

Thank you both! Jenna was thrilled to get a response!! My kids are a bit shy but trying to come out a bit more to meet new kids. I so envy you who have friendly outgoing children!! She will have her brother 13 and her cousin (boy) 14 so she won't be left alone the whole cruise but hopefully they all can make some new friends. Thanks again!

Jeff, I don't know how you do it, I have been trolling for that info for weeks! I know it's only been since Saturday but I'm surprised I haven't seen anything about it on the main boards.

This is great news, as our little Sarah is obsessed with showers. She calls all fountains showers! She will dance (fully clothed in cinderella slippers inside our shower, with it off..LOL)

Supposedly it is where the bike rental used to be, I read the bike rental was moved further back. Cookies II is supposed to be behind the area of the family beach with the Cabanas.

Last August we were at EPCOT when my Sarah decided to play in the dancing fountain showers that squirt up from the ground as you're walking towards the World Showcase. She was fully clothed, got soaking wet, and of course we didn't bring a change of clothes. I mean, why would we? Right?

Well, that only meant one thing. First Daddy had to buy a beach towel at a near by stand to keep her from being cold and then a shopping spree at MouseGears for dry clothes which turned out to be a very adorable Minnie "Jammie" shirt and short set which she still wears a year later.

Personally, you can't buy memories like that.

LOL, no I wish! We have just been assuming when she comes online she will take over the 7 night Magic cruises. We know the Magic will become the "Ambassador" ship (and IMO will be the ship that will be likely to visit all the different ports DCL has supposedly been scouting like Galveston and NYC.) The Wonder appears to be settling into her West Coast/MR/Alaska (and now possibly Hawaii) routine, and we know the Dream and Fantasy both have contracts that keep them exclusive to PC for several years following their introduction. So my money is on one of them doing the 3/4/5 and the other the 7's. With everyone else I am awaiting the 2012 dates with baited breath.

The one thing that did catch me by surprise is the fact that construction on the Fantatsy will not begin until after sailout (or at least maybe floatout?) of the Dream. I followed the construction of Independence of the Seas/Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas and they were being built concurrently. I assumed Dream/Fanatsy would be the same, and they were not. So Fantasy will likely not roll out until very late in the year in 2012 (which messes up all of my plans).

Oh - ok! We plan to rebook while onboard for Thanksgiving 2012 and we are going to book b2b (to celebrate my 50th!) - I am actually thinking that I want to do 3/4/3/4 which would mean we would then only be one cruise away from platnum - but Linda (the more practical of the two of us) doesn't want us to decide until we hear what the options are for 2012. . .

I am loving the new photo album!! I assume it was a lot of work - but it looks great!!

On our last cruise everyone kept going up to Linda thinking she was dizney-cruiser - as long as they don't wake her while she is napping by the pool (where she will be most of the cruise) she says she will answer to anything!!!

I just noticed it was Merritt Island...My dad and brother used to work at the Sea Ray Boats in Merritt Island, I got a little nostalgic for a minute there. (I lived in Titusville, from the age of 4 until 10).

Just wanted to thank all the people who work so hard to make this meet board work so well. Janice (disney-cruizer), you are great keeping everything organized. Jen (nenner1), the lanyards must be a real pain to do for such a large group but you always seem so cheerful and patient with us. Leslie, we appreciate all you do for the FE exchange. Judy (tjbaggott), wow, your design talent is over the top with the magnets and the photo album. Jeff (pudo), you are a wealth of information and somehow you explain things so simply to those of us who are techno-challenged. Many thanks to those who are helping to arrange the trick or treating, the meet, the kids thread, and sundry other things. And we benefit also from having one of the moderators of the whole board, Mary Jane (mmouse37), help steer us in the right direction when need be. There are countless more people to thank but I'll stop here. Though we are a large group I am amazed at the small town feel of this board. Can't wait to meet all of you. I had no idea when I joined the Disboard site that I would have so much fun and learn so much stuff about all things Disney.

(my sentiments exactly to dizney-cruiser, nenner1, pudo, leslie, and mmouse37) And also a Huge thank you to tinkerbell twins for organizing the Nachi Treasure hunt, and to all who are Volunteering their help with the TOT! AND to all who will be at the Meets!! Those meets will be AWESOME!!!!

I have a request of any of you! When I look through our photos from years past, I can't help but notice that I'm hardly EVER in any of the photos. Now thats because I'm the Camera person. So the favour is, while on board or Where ever on this vacation, Snap a few candid or otherwise photos with me in them somewhere, that you can either pm or email to me later. I thought this would be a great way to prove to my grandchildren someday that their Gramma actually went on these vacations too!!

I can do the same for anyone else! Though anyone is likely to be in photos of mine anyway, as I'm A PICTURE TAKER!!
