I just counted my current list and added mu43 and that gives me, including myself, a total of 33 Families.

Thats 32 couples
5 Adult Singles

As for new families after I was sent the formatted list:

tara1375: 2 adults, 2 children
kristieuk: 2 adults, 2 children
morgansmom2000: 2 adults, 1 child
ECJ922: 2 adults, 1 child
Pudo: 2 adults, 1 teen, 1 child
Kgoldenh: 2 adults, 2 children
ginajane88: 2 adults, 1 child
podsnel: 2 adults, 2 children
Finx: 2 adults, 1 child
mu43: 2 adults?, 1 child

I have destin12 and DisneyMissy as having cancelled their cruise. If I have incorrect info, someone please let me know.

I also have 31 families. . . Have you removed "DisneyMissy318" & "destin12"?

This was posted earlier in this thread this month. Perhaps destin12 just declined the FE but IS still cruising? Maybe thats it?

I've been working late into the nights lately on my FE gifts, and discovered "SOMEBODY HAS BEEN EATING MY CHOCOLATE"!!!! This individual named "somebody" has been a nuisance for years!! Somebody, is sneaky, lives here but I've never seen him/her, and has a bad habit of making a mess or having things disappear! Of course it's not my own kids, I ASKED them!!

I have also down that Destin12 and DisneyMissy cancelled I think someone mentioned this earlier on.

I also have snowite (2 children - DD 8 and DS ) on my FE list, as well as Pdarrah (2 adults and 1 child), plus someone mentioned a Cates (which I must have missed somewhere (whoops) - 3 people (2 adults and 1 child)

Does anyone else have snowite and Cates added to their FE list.

Maybe after the deadline of the signup Leslie or someone can post all the total numbers for us. I hope Leslie is okay, since we haven't heard from her in awhile.

Also, are we still doing one big list for FE? Just want to be sure since I want to get all my shopping for FE done soon.

I contacted leslie on sept 5th and as of then she said it was still one big group. I hope it stays that way because we already bought for everyone that was on the list at that time.

If you would like lanyards, you are here at just the right time, as I have just reopened sign ups for a short period before I place the order.

Send me an email at nenner1 at yahoo dotcom with how many you would like and I will get you the information on how to submit payment. I will need payment by Sunday September 5, and I do take Paypal. They cost $3/each.

Also if you are interested we are holding a Trick or Treat on Halloween for the children of our group. This is because historically DCL has offered its' Halloween festivities during times where we expect to be in port. All you have to do to sign up for this is post here in the thread the number of children. their ages, gender and stateroom number (if you have one).

Is anyone staying at the Hyatt the night before the cruise?

I had 32 as well until the last few days. I wasn't aware of snowite, and mu43 has just joined. So I'm at 34 families total (including myself). So until we hear from Leslie (she did make a post here ealier in August), I'll just work by my list and then compare it to the updated one she will send/post. I'm out of the giant ziplock bags so guess I'll have to make another trip to the store for those. They are working out great to hold all the individual bags per family. I now have 10 Completed bags of the Adults items, but can't do the kids till I get to NJ and or Sherrie's place because Oritental trading stuff and Janlyn stuff was sent to my Aunts. Saved me on shipping costs but now I'm stuck having to wait to finish putting my bags together.

I think Leslie is just Super Busy right now, and she'll be on here soon!

And what a magical way to celebrate your wife's birthday!! I too get motion sickness. My experience on the ships after having done two cruises now, is that if I take some motion sickness meds before I board or soon after boarding, and then late afternoon of our last day on board, I'm fine. The waters in the Florida area for both cruises, were choppy so we really noticed it the first night and the last night. As long as I used the meds, I was ok and had a fabulous cruise! I may talk to my doctor this time around for an alternative like a patch, but if not, I at least know I'm ok with Gravol or Dramamine.

Hi There!! Glad you are joing us on the cruise. You will LOVE this link!! Lots of great information.

As far as sea sickness, we too are on Deck 2 and it worked out great for us on our last cruise. I agree with Tjbaggot that taking some seasickness meds on the first and last days helps. One of the reasons the first day is bad is that we are crossing the gulf stream that runs along the Florida coast. Crossing over this makes it more choppy. But the rest of the cruise was smooth sailing. We even had a hurricane following us last cruise and never felt a thing.

We find that Bonnine works great for us. Got it at Walmart and took on our way to the port and it didn't make us drowsy.

PS. we are from the Dc area as well!!! WE are from Howard County Maryland!

Hi - I have a general question....If I get the 7 NTS WINE PACKAGE, can I use it at Palo? I noticed on the Palo menu, some of the wines are the same as on the wine package. Anyone know?

Looking sooooo forward to this cruise. We leave 9 weeks today (coming in 2 nights earlier to relax and not feel rushed). What the heck....I only have 25 vacation days this year. LOL

We've decided to take the slow drive down (Wed, Thurs, Fri).

I'm with you on the vacation days - I went up to 4 weeks this year and I still have two weeks carried over from last year plus I have one week of vacation that can be used whenever and never expires (so 7 weeks total I could take).

Now if only I had the money to fill all of those weeks with vacations......
