If you're looking at this date you can still get them over the phone. I just did. The CM made sure we didn't need more than the five tix I was ordering. She said they expected to sell out of their phone order allotment today. She also said Oct. 10th was close to selling out.

The Friday party prior to Gay Days was also the first to sell out last year, and I was unable to buy advanced tickets. On the day of the party, some tickets were available to onsite guests. No guarantee it will be the same this year.

The Friday before Gay Day's is the party that we attend every year. I can't remember a year when this date hasn't sold out pretty early. Very popular date!

We just bought our tickets for the 10th. I was holding off, but when I saw that 10/3 sold out, I figured it was time to pull the trigger. I'm surprised to hear this one is close to being sold out...I figured 10/31 and the first party would be the next ones to sell out.

Just as a side note --

DIS'er figment_jii is going to be keeping a list of the MHP dates as they sell out (this was discussed and decided quite a while back), so we won't need to have new threads popping up every time another MHP date sells out. The number of MHP-related threads can get out of control, and many of them end up being unnecessary or redundant. (figment_jii has been out of town, but I updated the first page of the Halloween Time at DLR Superthread yesterday, 8/22, with the sold out info next to 10/3 in the applicable posts, and DIS'er Diszona mentioned that some tickets were available over the phone, as did DIS'er Bret/mvf-m11c.)

I don't think the tickets will indefinitely be available over the phone for the 'sold out' date(s). I'm sure there is a very limited number.

Last year we were told it was only around 20, so if someone want to go this route I would recommend getting on the phone as soon as you know the online tickets are not available.

That makes sense. If the maximum number of available tickets has been reached online, it seems likely that there would just be a few straggler tickets left to buy over the phone.

There should still be more MHP tickets held back for onsite DLR hotel guests who need to by them at the last minute, on the mornings of the events (without a discount) -- but even those tickets are somewhat limited.
