Those are our exact dates too. We're looking into going the following week instead. Just kind of a bummer considering we'd already made all of our reservations and stuff. I'm one of those "over planning" kind of people so this is throwing me for a loop!

Pop Warner Week... but free dining was covered during that week last year as we went Dec 6 - 11.

Was it crazy busy? Im so bummed that I'm not getting FD! I was really hoping for it ! Maybe I'll get a random pin for FD! I really hope so! It'll save $250 more than the 20/30/40 pin! We shall see! Congrats to all that are able to use it!!!!!

I am very happy to see so many people able to take advantadge of FD

Unfortunately my check in date is 12/4 - so none for me. But, I did receive a 40% of pin code, so I am not complaining. Because of the number of people in our Villa, FD would've saved me an additional $200, but I am still a very happy girl with my pin code

SO SO EXCITED! We are going 12/16-12/22, but since it's a split stay we only applied the FD to our 12/17-12/22 at CBR, 2 rooms. We saved alomost $1000, and upgraded the FD to Deluxe! I'm shocked they released it so early, but I am grateful they did!

Okay My wonderful TA called me first thing this am to tell me she knew of FD. She was trying to get through to get it applied. Our dates are 10/21-28th. She warned me she might have to do a room only for the 21st and then we would just go check in on the 22nd. She told me she would email me when everything went through. Unfortunately this means our arriving on the 21st is sort of wasted b/c we will not have a ticket for that day.. boo!! That also means some lucky person will get our F! reservation for that day too! Yay for them. But I haven't gotten an email and unfortunately she wsa away from her desk when I just called. After seeing that so many on DISboards seem to be having troubles with ressies I am a little worried. I am going to tell myself that it's all worked out so far and no worries. But still, I would be happier If I heard from her one way or the other!!
And by the way, I am sorry for those of you whose dates are completely blacked out. Here's to some pixie dust floating your way in some way or another!!

If there is a Halloween Party on the 21st you could use some of the saved money to buy tickets for that instead of going to Fantasmic

I am so disappointed. I had been really hoping to catch free dining one of these trips. Our check in date is 1 day after one of the cutoffs. I would love to add a day but we already purchased our airfare. I called to see what we would be penalized for changing our days and there is an additional fee of $93 per person plus a $100 change fee per person. Since there will be 5 of us it isn't worth it.

Now I wish I didn't plan everything so early in the year. I should have just waited.

That's true. We have already purchased MNSSHP tickets for the 24th. But maybe we'll do two events. I'll have to check it out! Thanks!

We just got off the phone with Disney to check to see if they have a pin attached to our name. They didn't but they said there was one attached to my mother's name but it won't be available to add until July 13th. She will be traveling with us so hopefully it will be something good and will be available for our dates.

We went to Disney two years ago during the same week we are going this year and we did manage to get a discount then so hopefully something will be coming in the near future.

I hope so! My dates are the 19th-23rd and I don't qualify for the FD. I would prefer a % off anyhow since my daughter and I are only going. Makes me wonder too, what is going on during those dates???

You can now get your park tickets up to 3 days prior to your package arrival date. There was a post on the DIS boards about this a couple of weeks ago. I don't think you can get the dining, but you can get your tickets early by going to one of the guest services.

We're checking in one day (8/14) before his FD package starts on 8/15, and my son is going to get his tickets so we can use them that day (we have APs).

Ask politely to speak with a supervisor. The CM who changed us from room discount to FD took all of 5 minutes this morning.

I'm soo excited. Just booked Dec 12 - 17 for DS's 8th birthday. I was looking for a Chef Mickey ressie and almost gave up, then I ended up getting one for breakfast and an Ohana for dinner both on DS's actual birthday We're already going for 2 weeks in Sept, so unless airfare drops we might have to cancel, but I would sure love to see Disney at Christmas too
