I woke to 80 degree temps inside this morning - A/C stopped working. I really hope maintenance gets its fixed today - I will be miserable if I have to start packing tomorrow in the Florida heat!!!!!

We're going to try and catch up on some movies - Sorority Row, Jennifer's Body, and Pandorum are the 3 we want to see.

Jen and Lila drive down next Tuesday (with Mike) and we'll be in Epcot Wed. Thursday we've decided on Pirate Cove mini golf then Sweet Tomatoes for lunch, hopefully naps, then MNSSHP. Keeping my fingers crossed that Jen's t-shirt for MNSSHP arives in time. Darrell's, Mike's, and mine all arrived yesterday.

We're thinking of heading to the port hotel about 11 on Friday. Mike will probably head back to NC around 7-8am.

Anyone know what restaurants are around the Country Inn & Suites?

Hey guys!! sounds like everyone is getting ready!! No, I have not packed the first item...yes, I have had one box of FE's drop shipped to my hotel, and I have two more boxes to ship on Friday!! We leave on Wed. and I don't I'm ever going to be ready, but I will have to say, I'm looking forward to this trip more than any other one , in a long time. I had a medi-port put in this morning, so I should have some wonderful accessories (scars) to go with my bathing suit!! Then I get to start chemo the Monday after we get back. So I'm still at work tonight trying to get some work caught up...I did hire a new employee this week. It is amazing how God answers prayers before we even know we needed it. A lady with 8 years experience called me last week and asked if I was hiring. I really wasn't because I'm kinda OCD when it comes to my embroidery and want it to be just my way. We talked and she came over and I rally liked her, had some friends who knew her and gave her outstanding recommendations. The next day I found out that they were doing chemo first and then radiation. Which did not make me happy, because I wanted to get through Christmas season before the chemo. But as always God took care of that too! Now I have a new employee with 8 years experience to help me during the Christmas rush!! Hope everyone has a safe journey if I don't get to get back on before we leave...I have to keep my noise to the grindstone to get all I need finished in time. Can't wait to finally put faces and names together!! God Bless and good night (or back to work)!

Howdy to the rest of ya'll. Yeaaaaaaa, we made page 200! Woo Hoo. As for what we're doing this weekend. Last night we packed our box and DH shipped it out today to The Magic! We also did our boarding shirts! They look fabulous! Tonight, Lil is doing a Missionettes sleepover with our church. DH is working late. Katelin and I are doing laundry and cleaning the house. Tomorrow DH is helping neighbors move in the morning, and Katelin and I are continuing to do laundry, clean house and picking up Lil at lunchtime. Then Trina and Don (schmoopiecat) and my in-laws are coming over for a bbq and to chat cruise. Sunday is church and then the one day we're going to completely relax in the afternoon.

I do have a question. On our Dreamers website there are two possible dates for "Girls Night". Can we pick which one it'll be now so that we can print that schedule out? I'm fine with either one.

Well, nothing else to report here. We'll be loading the van up this time next week! Woo Hoo!!!! Talk to you later. Kristi

Personally I am hoping for October 7th. October 6th is DH's birthday and even though he says he is not celebrating, I would feel mean to leave him on his own on that day.

I have somehow run out of steam. I have been planning, plotting and preparing for over a year now. I started to count down the days around the 100 day mark and I got more excited almost day by day. Well the excitement has somehow gone completely out of me. I just can't get any enthusiasm going at the moment. All I think about is what I have left to do before I leave. I am sure that the excitement will come back once I have actually left.

Oh Corinna, I totally understand. I'm doing all I can to be as enthusiastic as possible.

What's hard for me is my husband's job. They abuse him so bad to begin with and then the abuse just gets worse when he goes away on vacation. I try to be as supportive as I can but that isn't always easy. So from yesterday til we leave I'll have an absolute bear on my hands and that doesn't make for fun anything. And, although yes, deep down I'm beyond excited, I've got so much to do between now and then, I almost am afraid to start packing for fear of really forgetting something important.

I'm doing by best to be excited over all the little achievements (even if I have to force myself). LOL

Hang in there Corinna! We'll get there and get really excited then!!!!! Kristi

We had our cabins changed (again!).....WE ARE IN 7588 and 7590.....(instead of 6600 and 6602)....

sorry about the confusion! hopefully this is the last time we get switched (unless we get upgraded to a suite-oh now wouldn't that be awesome!)

we are flying down on 10/2 renting a car and staying at the country inn and suites the night before the cruise. after the cruise we are re-renting a car and driving to WDW--currently have a ressie at OKW, but waitlisted for AKV and BLT. we'll be there overnight til 10/11....

anyone else doing something similar?

So ready to leave work. Only work 3 1/2 days next week. Have baby shower tomorrow. Then pack on Sunday. Hope to have everything done this weekend. I have become obsessed with watching hurricane website. Hoping everything stays clear. Will check in later this weekend.

I hope that the week will pass quickly for you. I can understand it only too well. For the past week it seems to me that one crisis is chasing the next at work. A few members of my team have a really tough time at the moment.

Goodness, I have heard of "Musical Chairs" before, but you seem to be playing a game of "Musical Cabins"

We are going to AKV for four nights after the cruise followed by 5 nights at our home resort OKW. Have you stayed at OKW before? We really love it. We had originally planned a AKV/BLT split, but could not bring ourselves to not spend at least some time at OKW.

I have not really followed the hurricane website this year, but I just had a look and there is really nothing out there that would be a threat to us. Last year we were chased by three separate named storms/ hurricanes and the captains did a great job keeping us safe and in pleasant weather.

Well, my two days off were not quite as productive as I had hoped. I am still not packed. However, all the confirmations for our vacation and the signature forms for the cruise have been printed off and have been sorted according to when we need them during our vacation. I also realized that I do not have enough swimsuits to take. Somehow I seem to have lost my favourite swimsuit and I was suddenly down to two. Trying to get swimwear in the UK in late September is easier said than done, but I succeeded in the end and got two new swimsuits. Four should be plenty.

Tomorrow it's back to work for me. I will have to pack either Sunday morning or evening.

We are at the high school homecoming tonight. Forgot how crazy a high school game could get. Looks like we will win but still some time left.

Well, they also didn't used to openly talk about the rotations and such, but they did when I called Castaway Cay. I know I requested to NOT be in AP on night 2 (Key West), so that we didn't miss the show (it wasn't working well our last cruise, so we've not truly seen it yet). I thought, with only a few days to go, I'd see if they were willing to divulge!

Now that I think about it, I certainly won't be calling Monday morning! I'll wait until the afternoon, when the lines have hopefully settled down a bit from the 2001 itinerary reservation rush!

Printed schedules??? schedules.....it's vacation....LOL

OK, Miss "I had everything packed 2 months ago!" I really only did it for our excursions and reservations and such. But having it printed out will make it easier to just refer to it when I'm booking the "on board" stuff like any tastings and Tea with Alice/Wendy. If I have to, I'll leave off which dining room....

DH has really started kicking into his excitement, so it's sort of catching. There's a part of me that's constantly thinking about what else I need to pile up in the bedroom, but I'm still giddy with anticipation for this trip!
