I'm back! We've been traveling up and down the East coast for the past 11 days I think we drove around 2200 miles Had a great time - spent the first night in Richmond on the drive to PA, spent 2nd night at my bff then stayed at Darrell's parents for 7 nights. Then stopped at my parents/sisters (they live 4 houses apart) for one night in Wilmington NC on the way back to FL. Got home this afternoon. Now back to work tomorrow.


Please add us to the late FE list - we're cabins 6098 and 6099 on the FE list.

Oh - and I haven't packed a thing yet

Sounds like everyone is getting super excited. Can not believe how close it is .

I had a very productive day. Finished my adult and boy FE's and half way done with the girls FE's. Have are shirts almost done for boarding. My two girls (and myself) are so excited to see what everyone is making. This is our first time to do the FE's so I feel like a kid at christmas

My Best friends husbands birthday was this weekend and he wanted to skydive, so we spent all day saturday to go out there to watch him pay to jump out of a plane . The whole time I was thinking man you know what I could do with all that money they just spent for him to jump out that plane, can we say downpayment on our next cruise . I guess I just don't get the whole sky diving thing . I am so glad my husband did not want to do it!!!

KY Crusin I was keeping up with that story also. I am so glad to see how it all turned out. Boy was it a nailbiter for a while. I was watching the clock with my fingers crossed.

Well, I better get off to bed. Hope everyone had a great Labor Day!

I believe there is only 3 of us....Michelle was kind enough to put "late list" next to our names on the original list of all the people on our cruise. I know it was me (JMO), ajwaspooh and one more.

I'm not stalking the mail lady or anything...

My three day weekend was pretty cruddy. I spent the whole time being really sick. Better now than 3 weeks from now. I'm starting to come back to life though. So, it's back to getting ready for the cruise. I got nothing accomplished over the weekend.
I imagine others will start to chime in with cruise docs soon, luckey ducks!
I don't think I will be the last one to post to the thread before the cruise. We are leaving CA on the 30th. So we'll have to see who it is. And now that we know who the first to get docs was, we'll have to see who gets them last. Poor them!

Such a shame that you were sick over the weekend. I hope that you feel better soon.

My list of what I am waiting for is finally getting shorter. The gifts for the under 6s, the finishing touches to my Pirate costume, some odds and ends for my Secret Mickey and my embarkation t shirt all arrived last week. The gift for he late joiners arrived yesterday and today the last part that I need to put together the main gift arrived. I started to get really worried about this. I started to wonder if this would get here in time. Now I am just waiting for my pillow case and the last part of my Secret Mickey gift and of course the cruise documents.

I will leave the finishing touches until I am back from my sister's wedding.

I wish I could! I will go straight to an airport hotel after work on Friday as I have a very early flight out to Germany on Saturday morning for my sister's wedding. Normally we have a club room and therefore internet access at the club lounge, but this time we just have a standard room. I won't have internet access over the weekend either so I will have to wait until either late Sunday night or even Monday to find out. I don't suppose my iPhone is capable of running the webcast.

We booked through a TA, so I don't expect to be getting cruise doc's until sometime next week.

I will be watching the podcast, so If you all want, I will be happy to post the information here. I am sure the boards will be a flutter that day! I am a bit worried the DCL site will not be able to handle the traffic, so hopefully things will work out.

Not much else to report except my husband and I will be in WDW in less than three weeks!!!

Hey everyone..I found a free minute so I wanted to say HI ...we are so close. I have finished my FE gifts for the kids and my adult FE arrived yesterday I bought luggage, so I can start packing things are looking up. I think all that is left is my SM gift what to buy, what to buy I think my DH is finally getting excited, he asked if maybe he should think about packing? and he took his suit to the cleaners I can't wait..."See you real soon"

Yay! I can say we are leaving three weeks from today! I'm hoping to start packing sometime this week. I wont be able to pack our daytime clothes because it's STILL HOT here. It's going to be 97 today! I'm ready for fall already!
I wont be watching the announcement live because it will be at the same time as the 9/11 memorial at Riley and Baileys school, but I'll be checking the minute I get home. Although, sadly, I don't think we will be able to rebook onboard. We still have a big chunck of this cruise on our credit card and need to pay that off before we add anything else to it, and I don't want to dig into our spending money for the cruise. I'm still hoping to cruise in 2011 though.
Well off to get the little ones to school. Hope everyone has a great day!

Hello,

So I finally finished my FE's. I hope everyone will like them!

I also have packed my box to ship to the boat, but I have a question. When should I ship it to ensure it will be on the boat? I would hate for it to not arrive. Is there anyone else who has shipped or will be shipping that can help me out. Thanks in advance for your help.

Once I get the box shipping done. I plan on getting that luggage dusted off and start packing what I can. It is still very hot here in Texas as well so this will have to be a day by day packing thing .

Well, I have a confession to make...I was just out running errands, and I found myself driving next to a ups truck and I had to restrain myself from rolling down the window and yelling, "Are you going to my house? You can just hand me my envelope through the window!" Then when I got home I went right to the front door to see if anything had been left. I think I've checked the front door 3 times today. I'm going to go crazy until they get here. Why, I don't know, it's not like getting the cruise docs means I get to go any earlier.

Well, I'm off to check my front door. Hey, I might not have heard the knock while I was typing away on the computer.

I have the link bookmarked on DH's computer (my iPhone is older than my MacBook and therefore I use DHs computer to synchronize it). I probably won't get anywhere near his computer until Monday as he is working from home tomorrow and on Friday, I go straight from work to the airport as I am going to Germany for the weekend. I think you just might be out of luck chasing the UPS man. Our DME stuff came through UPS last year, but the cruise documents came through Fedex.
