Hi all,

My DH and I (Jeff & Mitzie) will be cruising with the Magic also, with main dining. We will be staying in stateroom #5013. This is our second cruise after a 4-night last year with Disney. We will stay at the Beach Club prior to the cruise so we can enjoy the Food & Wine fest prior to departure. If it's not too late we will participate in the FE, but not the SM.

Looking forward to seeing ya onboard...

Welcome to all the new members of our thread!!!!

I am so excited that we are inching our way closer to this cruise! I soooo feel like I need this vacation now. Taylor will also be dressing up for pirate nite. She is going to be a punk pirate (I guess that's what it is called). I would love to get my husband in pirate gear, but I am not sure he will go for it.

I dont know yet if we are doing any excursions. I think we might wait until we get to the ports to see what else is offered.

Welcome to all of our new people...man there are a lot! I haven't been on the computer much this week because we've been doing lots of outdoor, summer stuff. I'm going to have to start getting on here more often or I'm going to loose track of all the new people we are getting.
Thank you to those of you that have PM'd me your address! I am staying very busy with making my FE.
I just sent my oldest, Ashley, off to camp for a week with the church. When she gets back we will be headed to Boston to visit "thegreatcornholeo" .
My two younger DD's, Riley(10) and Bailey(5) will be dressing up for Pirate Night, but Ashley (15) wont.
We just bought our new luggage, so that is taken care of. We still have to order the girls pirate costumes, and get Ryan's passport, and I have to order the stuff online for the kids FE's, but other than that we just have little things to finish up.
I hope everyone is having a great summer (ours is officially half way over)!

Ok so I talked to the granmother tonight. Told he my concerns, and they are not going as of now. She said she understands my concern and will respect it. The kids were suppose to see each other tomorrow(we live an hour apart) now all teh sudden he is not welcome at their home. I hate it for him because he is so upset, but not much I can do. He understands about the cruise, and is actually happy to be with us for the week. He also knows he will ahve freedom on ship, and not have to worry about her, or spending to much mom and dad time. thanks for letting me vent, I feel much better tonight.

Hi all! WOW! You all were busy while I was away.

WELCOME to all you newbies onboard!!!!!! We're glad to have you join us.

I survived the camping trip with DH's family. There were parts of the trip that I enjoyed and there were parts of the trip I didnt. My DH and I talked about it on the drive home so in the long run he seemd pleased. I told him I'd go camping with him and the kids again soon.

As for the sleeping in the tent, I had a rule. We took the blow-up mattress and then put the sleeping back on top and then we slept on that with a blanket over us. LOL Not very "camp" like but it worked for me. Our tent is HUGE so we actually took the pack-n-play as well. LOL There was TONS of room.

Hey, Michelle, I'm not allowed to respond to your PM yet (I need 10 posts), so I'm gonna put my reply right here....

DH is a SF 49ers fan, but I grew up with Da Bears. It depends on what's going on whether he watches football, though, so we'll see (he's not as "into" the Disney community as I am - even though he's a Disney nut!).

Now that my ressies are made, I've moved into the next phase - the magnets! I've got a cute one I'm gonna have to post...I've not seen one like it, yet. Though it is a little bit beyond what's normal for the doors.

Karaoke might be a fun night for girls, but it starts so late, those of us with early days might not be able to stay awake....

One last thing - how do I get a family picture up on the website? Do I email to you or something?

We just sent DD (Sam) to camp today. She'll be home Friday. To make it special for DS (Josh), who is not old enough for camp, we'll be pitching a tent in the backyard and "camping" one night this week. I haven't slept in a tent since I was a teen and that was a while ago!

I plan to post a picture of the family, but for those who frequent Passporter, I have a cruise Trip Report going over there called "We've done WONDERful, now let's go for MAGICal". In the first post are pictures of all of us on our last cruise in Dec 2007.

Good Morning Dreamers. I'm wide awake at 3 AM so I decided to check our board. Glad to welcome all our new members. The countdown chain is getting shorter & the to do list seems to be getting longer. I can't even begin to think of all the stuff that needs doing. I'm pretty much set for pirate night & semi & formal night. Who knows what DH will do for pirate night. We are thinking about tux rental for formal night for him. I can't get him to decide what he wants to so. Practical man that he is says buy a new suit that he will be able to keep & use again. I just think he will be a knockout (at least to me) in a tux. Haven't seen him in one since our wedding in 1976. When we renewed our vows a couple of years ago he wore a suit. Maybe when STD check comes in I'll go ahead & place the order for the tux and surprise him.
Hey BFF - You survived the camping trip. I told Donald that your idea of camping was no room service at the Hilton! Love ya kiddo.

We were going to stay at country inn on Friday night, found a much better deal at Residence inn for Friday, so changed our reservation to Residence Inn. Who else is staying with us? Off to work for a busy day. Hope you all have a great day.

OMG - just to show you where my brain is today...

I was looking over the spreadsheet on the Disney Dreamers webpage (I have a lot of catching up to do!), but I was looking at individual columns, to see who had kids the same age as mine. So, I looked down the girls column and then up the boys column. I saw one that said Josh(5) and got excited, thinking, "Hey! there's another 5 year old named Josh." And then I realized it was my own listing!

Welcome MitzieMouse and Claybie. Yes our FE is still open for new enrollment....we actually only have 6 days left and on JULY 20th it is closed!! Thank you Mitzie for all ur info, I have added you to the FE list on our web page(link in my signature)

Claybie---if you want to join the FE or SM I need names, names and ages of kids, dining, stateroom number. etc.

Kim----we too along with Terri are staying there. I think Laura might be too. i think we are just gonna grab some chinese and then let the kids hang by the pool! Friday during the afternoon we are hitting DTD for a bit!

Well, it happened!I got the airline employee discount! Nothing like cutting it close...We had until Friday for them to post the discount and they just posted yesterday, so we only had a few days to spare. Wheww. We ended up saving a little over $2000 We are now paid in full, and I have Palo reserved for Tuesday at 6pm. There were no reservations left for brunch hopefully we'll be able to get one for that because we've never done brunch and I really wanted to do it this time.
I have, once again, changed my mind what I'm going to do for the kids FE's and I have to order the supplies online, so now I'm just waiting for the FE date to close so I know how many I need so I don't have to pay for shipping more than once.
I ordered MNSSHP tickets today. We will be doing that on October 1st. Then just hanging out at the pool at our resort (port orleans) on Friday. Hopefully I'll be able to wear the kids out so that they go to bed early Friday night so we can head over early on Saturday morning. Lets just hope they've adjusted to the time change by then or it's going to be really hard to get them up early.

I am sure that we will also be at the pool with the boys friday night. There is a chance that Kyle(14) will have to fly Friday night and not ride with us. The joys of school. My mom will put him on plane here and I will pick him up in Orlando at 920. Hoping we can work it out that he leaves with us Thursday night, but we will see what happens.

We lost my grandma during the night last night. Funeral is Sat. in Michigan. Think we are leaving Thursday after work, and coming home Saturday night. Going to be a quick trip. She is in a much better place, and after being so sick for a long time, I know she is finally happy.

Just got in from our last baseball game for a while, tryouts are next week, and then will start again when school starts. Off to get ready for bed, and a day of work tomorrow. Have a great night.
