This work week is finally over....I thought it would never end! I work in a medical office and things were hectic with all the talk about swine flu. As of today, Florida is now included on the list of states that have documented cases of swine flu. With one of the cases diagnosed locally, everyone here is very nervous and rushing to stock up on N95 respirator masks and Purell.
I am really hoping the situation dies down LONG before we are all set to cruise. Nassau is not one of our favorite ports and we were looking forward to Cozumel!
Maybe DCL will contract with another port by then (San Juan would be nice!) or things will return to normal.
It is nice to connect with some of you on FB! Do we have a page on FB just for our cruise? If there is one, can someone please point me in that direction? If not, I think we should.
Enough rambling, I am going to try to go to bed early tonight! TTFN!

Just wanted to say hello to all. There 3 of us travelling on the cruise. Hubby daughter 9 and myself first time cruising so excited been watching the forum for a few months now but not very good at posting. Looking for tips on excursions any help would be great.
Other than that, I don't believe there is much on our plate for the week. On Saturday (the day before Mother's Day) we're taking Lilli to a local dinner theater to see High School Musical. Katelin is staying home with a sitter. It'll be fun. I anticipate Sunday (actual Mother's Day) to be a quiet day for us.
..by like a day but we are!! Well busy weekend here. Had an Indian reception on Friday---very neat. Nothing like an American wedding
, all culture and Indian food. DH and I had a blast and really enjoyed sharing in our friends day. Then Sat, Nelia had soccer. Something else was Sat but for the life of me I can't remember...LOL Then Sunday we had Sydney's 3 hrs of dance competition practice
(comp is May 15th) , her tennis practice for 1 1/2 hrs and while there DH brought Nelia's bike and Nelia with very LITTLE assistance from DH learned how to ride a 2 wheeler.
She is sooooooooo excited. We told her to ride bike's on Castaway she had to learn this summer so when she is determined she goes all out. We started our Mickey ear flower bed but I need a couple more bricks and some soil to finish it off. Oh and flowers....
Now this week will be busy again. We are going to be pretty relaxed this coming weekend but then May 15th we will be going to Columbus for Sydney's dance competition. Very hectic but I love it. 
. It is going to go by soooo fast! I'm very excited about it. That being said, if everyone could PM me their address and last name that would be a big help. If you don't want to, or dont feel comfortable giving your address to a psycho disney lady, I totally understand, I can make them without the address too so it's no big deal. 
You guys are gonna look smashing!!! I've gotta take my dress to the tailors to see if he can fix it. I'm starting to worry that it won't be able to be fixed (at least in the wait). We'll have to wait and see. If the tailor can't do it I do have a friend of mine who's amazing at this kinda stuff so I can maybe ask her. Hmmmm, now that I think of it, maybe I should touch base with her first. Might save me a few $$$$$ and I know she can do something. Will see what happens. LOL She's got time right now so I should make her work on something. Hee Hee

Have fun at the wedding this weekend. Safe travels to you and your family. We had the downstairs done (minus the kitchen) about 5-6 years ago. I just pray this gets done with pretty quickly. Harrisburg is horrible for allergy sufferers cause we're basically in a valley so things just stick around longer. Anyway, should be a good afternoon.
