Good Evening everyone, 269 days!! Woohoo.... I can't wait to be aboard the magic! Our chain has gone down 100 links...dang I hope the next 100 fly just as fast! Today we just went to lunch with my parents---40 yrs of marriage today. and then we just vegged...for some reason I am so tired! My DD(24 more days till 5) fell asleep at 5:30---oh no I wonder what my night will hold.....maybe she will sleep all night.

Back to school for me tomorrow and then the kids go back Tuesday . I can't believe the last 2 weeks have gone by so fast. I keep thinking 9 months from today we will be on the ship. It can't go fast enough for me.

Oh well I feel so accomplished for a MOnday! Girls back to school, had blood work done, dropped off meds to be filled, and weighed in while I was giving them my blood..........I lost 4 lbs in 6 days!!!! I guess that is what 1200 calories will get ya!!!! Ok only 26 more to go!!! I want it off before Easter! Ok well I hope everyone had a good start today like I did......I will chat later!

My family is booked on this cruise in Oct. I am SO excited to finally be in 2009! This is our first cruise!

My husband (Rob-34) and I (Heidi-34) and my two children, Alan (11) and Anne (7) will be sailing. We are booked in room 6056 and I think the "main" seating for dinner. We are totally in for the FE exchange....new to this but it sounds like fun!

Congrats Michelle!! That's great! I wish I could say the same, but after losing 2 I gained 3 maybe the holidays had something to do with it. Well, I got Riley off to school with her Indian project in hand, of course it was raining this morning! So I put a garbage bag over it, hopefully it will survive! We've lost about 200 links off of our chain! I just hope the winter will go by fairly quickly, the summer always go by fast, so I'm not worried about that. I should be getting my FE some time this week...I will post a picture when I do. Hope everyone has a great day!

Andrea---nice FE!!!! Thanks for the photo....I have already put it on our web page, though it must be a small file because it's smaller then others on there but u are there!! Ryan looks like he has as much hair as DEL does(well I clip it down to nothing)

You all (on this board) have gotten me so excited I can't even stand it. I picked up a few Disney pins at Disneyland because after Amaya watched her friend trading pins she got interested. I'm getting ready to go walk on the treadmill and read Twilight while I'm walking - anybody else reading that series?

Laura---you don't want my diet plan. It's only 1200 calories a day and I am looking at every label(BTW 1/4 cup of M&M's is 220 calories) Doesn't that suck...I love em too and it's peepin on that time for me(of the month )so I am gonna die without chocolate. I started wathing everything on the 30th and exercising 2 x's a day just a 30 min arobics tape.....I skipped sunday but thats lazy day for me. I just hope it continues fallin off....cause I want to lose it all by March..ok I want sooner but I guess I can only hope.

Terri--- this thread does make ya even more excited to go doesn't it? I contemplated changing dates but I wouldn't want to miss out on meeting the people in here. So here we stay!

Terri--Riley is really into the pin trading! You can get the pins on ebay for a lot cheaper. They are not really nice ones, but if she is going to trade them they work just fine. I got my FE from ebay. There's a lady on there that does them, her name is Tiffany. I think her ebay name is gradysmommy. When you go to ebay just do a search for "fish extender" and it will bring up a few different people that make them, I liked hers the best though, and she doesn't charge to personalize them.
I ordered some stuff from Disney today, mostly stuff for the cruise. It was all on clearance. The biggest find was the rolling Mickey soft sided cooler for 14.99. Which will come in handy to bring our onboard. I just thought I would mention it in case anyone else wants to get one. It's at disney outlet dot com. I also got some pj's on clearance for Ryan, Ashley and I. Now I just need some for Riley and Bailey and we will all have new jammies for the cruise. So, things are moving right along...a week and a half ago I hadn't made any purchases for the cruise, now I've got a formal for Bailey, a casual dress for me, a FE and now I have a box on it's way from Disney .

Andrea----aren't u so accomplished!!! So what kinda prices do you pay for the pins? in a lot? The girls have some pins--ones given out on our first cruise and then a Castaway Club one sent to them. and then they each picked one on the cruise but they have never done the trading. Not sure they would wanna give up any favs. But if I could order some in bulk they don't care about then they might be alright with that.

I am excited I found the juice I need to mix with my malibu rum....the juice is in 6oz cartons but I am not sure I could get those on the boat. Do u think I could...I mean if you can bring bottled water and beer bottles why not small cartons of orange/banana/pineapple juice. anyone know?

We are pin traders too. Quite an expensive habit...I have also found a good way to save $ is buy the pin sets that sell during the annual pin sale on disneyshopping.com. We have gotten pins for as little as $3-$4 that way, but I have never researched buying them on ebay.

Forthelove..I listed the ages as of sailing. hopefully i did the math right in my head.

kids have a snow day here in st louis because it is super icy this am. trying to get myself out the door is proving difficult.

Totally a fan of the twilight series!

Hi all. Welcome to the newbies! And thanks to all of you for your suggestions regarding matching clothing. I wanna get a few things now before my eldest says absolutely not. Things are pretty much back to "normal" around here. Lil went back to school yesterday and Katelin and I have been on the go. We're headed to Lil's school today for lunch so she can show off her sister. Then it's to her old school possibly this afternoon (depends on the weather as they are saying it could ice and snow). Then I go back to work tomorrow and Thursday (I'm doing this for the income) and then I get Friday off with Katelin. So all seems well. I'm waiting for Richard to transfer the pictures we took from his laptop to this computer so I can share some. As soon as I do I'll pass them on. Take care! Kristi

The pins we got on ebay, we got 20 pins for $40. I think Riley only liked one of them, so she kept that one. All the rest she traded, so they served their purpose well.
Terri--I'm on the waiting list for the Twilight book at the library, so if yours is from the library--hurry up and finish it!
I'm anxiously awaiting my box from Disney, do you think it's too soon to start looking for the ups truck if I just placed my order yesterday?
Kristi-I'm glad things are getting back to normal for you! Kaitlin must be so excited to show off her sister to her friends!

Kristi----Enjoy Lilli loving her sister now cause believe me it's short lived... Sydney loved Nelia when she came along and loved her till about a year or so ago. Now they have their moments.....maybe that will change once Nelia is in school fulltime. Well tell Lilli to enjoy showin Katelin off cause she's a cutie.

Riley does do the pin trading on the ship, but mostly with CM that she see's around the ship (the ones in the shops always have pins). We don't typically go to the pin trading sessions they set up (too much other stuff to do).

Isn't it great? Now the time will start to fly by! Before we know it we will have 3 weeks to go with formals to buy, luggage to fix the zipper on, homework assingments to be gathered, and bathing suit shopping to do!
By the way Laura, the apt. looks good! It's only 3 minutes from the port! Not bad, and it looks like some of the balconies face the beach. See if you can get one of those!
