It is a crazy shopping day!!
it is the day after Thanksgiving. all the stores open up early . ( some as early as 4am.) There are great deals on shopping. a lot of sale items are on sale only for a few hours and many stores only get a few of one item in.

sorry I've been away. I am going to catch up on reading today! I have been planning a surprise 40th birthday party for Marty and it took all my time! We had it this weekend in Gatlinburg and had a blast. His best friends from high school were able to come down and I think that might have been the biggest surprise.
Since I was able to pull that off, I think I am going to try and surprise my kids with a trip to Disney World for spring break. I have always said I would NEVER go over spring break but he 4+3 deal includes our spring break week so I am thinking that the crowds won't be too bad. I guess we'll see.
Mindi
) gave me a surprise birthday party this past weekend too! It was so much fun.

(at Laura's) ...and we're COLD!
Laura if you're reading this...I did have enough blankets last night, and don't you dare tell anybody how many blankets, and sleeping bags, I had on my bed.
Still not sure if my hubby and I will head out to people watch but will let you know what happens when we get back. We're not due home til Saturday sometime so don't expect to hear from me til Sunday or Monday. Take care! Kristi
, but I hope you have fun! I'm not telling you how many blankets I had, you will make fun of me! And I'm not telling you that on top of all the blankets was a sleeping bag. Laura didn't mention that she lives in a old New England house with old windows and it feels like standing outside when you are next to a window, so it's not my fault that I'm so cold, OK it's not entirely my fault! We are all having fun though, and Laura and I snuck away and worked on our magnets last night.
Wimpy wimpy wimpy! I can stand the cold but I don't like it anymore then you do. I am extremely impressed with the time change that you were up this mornin....wow!
Taking down those trees killed us....glad they're gone but wow...I might have to miss out on MNSSHP next yr. I wanna pay everything for the cruise with our taxes and they shrunk w?tree removal. Owell all I need is to be on the boat!!

& ate a late supper. First time in a long time we have had a chance to spend that much time together.
. No clients coming in or calling. Very quiet. I needed the break. Got some great stuff @ Disney online. Can't say what I got beause Kristi won't be surprised at
Christmas.
Until I get back, I wish every one a Merry Christmas.
Let's see where to begin. Yesterday on the way out of town I noticed people lined up at Best Buy at 5:00am Thurs morning!!
Crazy nuts in 20* weather... We had a nice Thanksgiving. Then this morning at 3am my girlfriend picked me up and we went to Kohl's, I was shopping for mom who just can't handled the wee hours. Luckily I only needed a 18 qt Roaster pan, so my friend stood in line I grabbed the pan and we were outta there in 15 minutes! Then to Meijer where she needed a GPS and I needed micro sd cards ($4.99) woohoo
. Then Walmart...holy lines.....OMG the hole length of the store. We grabbed what we needed and slithered our way up through the purse to a shorter line ...
.sneaky we are! Then to Staples, Lowe's , Target,Dick's Sporting Goods, and then to Qdoba for food. (9am) Then we thought --kid and DH free so off to the mall to walk freely. Home by 11:45am...oh boy needed a nap but still plugging along....I think I will die soon. I scored almost everything I wanted to, nothing I had to have but got bargains and I am all about getting a steal of a deal.!!
. On Wed. we (my parents, the girls, Jason and I) took the train into Boston and did some sightseeing. It was a lot of fun! The funniest thing was that Jason kept telling everyone that he "took the day off", because he didn't go to school that day. Then on the train home in the evening while the girls slept Jason read the paper. He was like a little business man, it was so cute!
