Lisa--thanks for the turkey...I will use it in my email to people but I can't put it in my signature cause everytime I see it I know its U...LOL

I stay home for now. When Nelia starts Kinder, next year I hope to go back to work. Del and I said as long as the kids were outta school I would stay home. One of my PTO mom's DH is a OB doctor and I hope to work in his office next yr. Hopefully 9-5 so I can get the girls to school, go to work and only have to worry about someone picking them up. My DH(Del) is a mail carrier so starting now is when I feel bad for him. From now till March. We had some blizzards last year so I can't even imagine delivering in that.

I keep forgetting to add that we are on late dining. Hoping for the 8pm rotation.

Lisa just request it. I requested the rotation so that I am 6pm seating which I think is LAP. It worked out nice for us cause the characters come out for phtot ops at 5:30/5:45 so the girls hit a few before dinner and then to dinner....then a few before or after the shows.

Michelle-I am secretly stalking you, but now you know so it isnt quite as fun:laughing: ...No, I just like reading the trip reports and other peoples threads (yea, I guess I am nosey) and the title of that halloween thread "intrigued" me so I read it. I wanted to do a Halloween cruise and I wondered why someone would have such a miserable time. So I'm reading the posts and low and behold...there is your name. I think "oh, what does Michelle want to tell them"...Well, when you told the lady that her children probably didnt need the extra candy because our nation is obese anyway... I thought "I cant wait to meet Michelle!!!!":goodvibes

LMAO Robin...OMG U made me laugh. Like I said I am direct..not direct that i would say anything to anyone to hurt them (like my mom is over weight) but pretty honest. I like people for them and who they are.. but I have been there. I am literally half my size now. If I showed U guys my wedding photo compared to the one u have seen U would die. I am very conscious(sp?) what I give my girls. i don't ever want them to experience what I have in life. I do not make them watch everything they eat when we are on the Magic of course and nor do I, however because we don't eat that way...that ice cream machine on deck 9 only gets visited maybe twice...they usually don't ask. I figure they get enough sweets at dinner. My girls DO NOT drink pop--oops Soda in NY. They are limited on the candy they get, etc. Because I have started that since birth, they just never ask. I offered to let them try soda on special pizza nts and well they hated it. Kids get junk so early in life so they become programed to want it. I was 302 :scared1: at my highest and I will never let my girls be there. So there is my answer for my craziness...:rotfl2: I feel for anyone struggling w/their weight, cause I get it!!!! and also find it to be awesome for those who are fine whatever size they are. I just couldn't keep up with my DD(8). I never lost it for vein reasons but for health. Cause believe me I was the same honest smart alec before I lost....:rotfl:

Michelle I knew you meant no harm. Most of the people posting said the same thing you did. It's just too bad she didnt have a more enjoyable time. How can you not have a good cruise with Disney??!!:confused3

I am glad you mentioned that you dont give your daughters a ton of candy because I will modify my FE for the people who dont want alot for their kids. Not that candy is all of what I am giving them, but there will be candy in the childrens FE.

My kids love the junk food...uugghh so do I. I am not proud to admit, but I can eat me a burger, fries, drink and still put away a Jim Dandy sundae from Friendly's. I have no shame I know!!! :mickeybar

We did put in a request but since they don't guarantee them we aren't getting our hopes up.

Did you just have your travel agent request it? I need to go back and look at my recent navigators but I think we would like the later of the early dining if possible.
Mindi

We re-booked on board for this cruise so we had it noted then. When it gets closer to the cruise I'll ask my TA to request it again just to double-check.

Robin...don't feel u have to worry about the kids and candy. They are used to it. It doesn't bother them anymore. They just can't have gummi snacks or starbursts...chewy things like that. They both have deep pockets in their molars & have had their teeth sealed. Their dentist frowns on that and perfers they eat chocolate cause when u drink it washes away. Instead of suckers and chewy stuff which sticks on the teeth. But don't change anything just for them. They won't care!!!

Mindi---I just requested and figure as a castaway club member I hope they can honor it. I specifically asked for a certain rotation that would be the 6pm dining. I like it for the reasons I said above..few character photos..eat and off to show. If there is to much time in between eating and show my kids will crash. They are in bed at 8pm so the show at 8pm and usually they crash in the stateroom. Sometimes DD(4) would fall asleep. She still hasn't made it to the Till we meet again......10pm way to late for her. My DD(8) always collects pixie dust afterwards and I have thread a few and they hang from their ceiling of their rooms. So hopefully younger DD will make it this time.

Hey, Just checking in to see if anything exciting is going on. Not much here. Going to NJ this weekend for Cheerleading. If we win there then it is off to Disney!!! I want the girls to do well, but that will take a big chunk out of our cruising money if we have to go to Florida in Feb. '09. I will let you know what happens.

I am at SAHM, but I do babysit. My DH works for National Grid. Have a great nite everyone!!!!:)

Hi all! Hope everyone is doing well. Things are typically busy around here. Anyway, nothing new to report on my end. As for jobs, both my hubbie and I work out of the home. I am a legal assistant (I do legal secretarial work as well as paralegal work) and my husband is the Asst. Media Director for Christian Life Assembly (our church). I am working towards becoming a SAHM and pray one day soon I'll be able to do so. :) We'll see.

Take it easy all! Talk to you soon. Kristi

I am a sahm too. :) Dh works for Graco. ( he waited until all of our kids were out of baby products before he went to work there. :rotfl2: )

We did not get a lot of candy in our f/e. we got soo many Disney pens!! :)

We requested the 6pm dinner slot on our double dip, it worked out great. I want to book the time slot that has Lumieres for the next cruise. ( PC makes me sooo sea sick the first night).

Val ...U tell ur husband I can't not find a nice graco doll stoller!!! J/k I am looking for one for DD(4) and I had a real nice one from graco for Older DD's dolls yrs ago and I can't find any that are little baby minatures. Thats my last xmas gift that I have to find. I mean I have a few American girl outfits I see on clearance so I will prolly get more but I have gotten everything they have asked for. Oh and I need to get Nelia the American girl Nellie doll for her bday(jan 28th) cause they are retireing Nellie and she likes her plus her name is (nah -lee-ah) but my aunt calls her Nellie so I thought the doll was fitting. Both girls have bitty babies, sydney has 2 ag dolls and nelia 1 so 1 more for her and I THINK we are done. AG is big in our house!!

I have gotten some fun things for the kids and shopping early I just keep finding more!!

Michelle:
ironically Graco does not make the baby doll strollers! they just give use of their name. ( we bought a set for the girls last year on Black Friday! we had to pay for it :rotfl2: ) I saw an umbrella stroller yesterday at Toysrus.

We are moving to Atlanta next summer....15 minutes from the American Girl store, our girls are soooo excited!

dh is in China this week and is hopefully getting the kids some things for Xmas. :)

Val---figures that is the case. Nelia of course wants a double stroller...she has one but not nice like graco. Plus I like the graco wheels ya know like real baby stroller rubber wheels. I have laminate wood flooring and hate the sounds of the wheels like the cheap stroller/umbrella ones. I have found a few...but not the perfect one...I will settle if I have to but would prefer perfection...LOL

My girls would love to go to AG. We were supposed to go in October but took that money to book cruise. Hmm I like the cruise choice. AG can be a choice for when DD(4) is 6 when she can do more there.

I brought Gabi to the American Girl doll store in NYC and it was amazing!! They have a little hospital to fix your doll, Salon to get her pretty again and cafe to eat at there. Security guards were everywhere when I was there. At the time, I didnt realize that AG dolls were so popular until I got there and the store was filled with little girls and their moms. Gabi only has one doll, the one that you can get to look like you. Very cute!!

Robin ---what does ur glittery sign say below?
Sydney has Elizabeth and Kit(she looks like Sydney) and Nelia has Julie(the hippie) and is getting Nellie for her b-day!! They like the historical dolls cause they have stories and movies and they like reading about them.. Brings their dolls to life!! I thought about getting Sydney a just like you doll but when we say the Kit doll..well she looks most like Sydney. We definately need to hit the salon. Elizabeth needs a hair do. I don't like the long haired ones as much...Kits hair stays so nice and Julie's and elizabeth's are harder to comb. Sydney just came by the saw me typing and said just one more doll mommy??? I said if she still wants one more NEXT xmas that can be the one thing they get since their dolphin encounter is a big xmas present next year! Oh boy just to think 10 more months!!!

Happy Veterans Day!!!
