Ok Here are the ears requested....and yes Andrea I have been sick so me,recliner and laptop are real close. Also I am not a cold kinda girl so when the winter hits I will not be on the go.

magnet paper I saw on ebay was pretty cheap....I am considering bidding on some myself.

I will remind all about posting photos next yr. I also am glad to be on this cruise. Just think it will be so nice if our kids are at the pool and we run into each other and chit chat. It's kinda neat. After talking on here a whole year it will be like running into a "friend" kinda ya know!

Hello, everyone! I am just back from my Adventures by Disney "Discovery Down Under" Australian tour. It was awesome. If you are thinking of doing an ABD trip, I highly recommend taking the plunge. It was a lot of fun and a true adventure.

I hope no one minds if I sit out the Fish Extender. I don't trust myself to be organized enough. Plus, I would probably get lost on the ship trying to find everyone's cabin. I have a terrible sense of direction.

Here's the winner.... I tweeked the fonts to match and took of 2009 since it is in the date...As long as everyone likes it here it is. Now everyone print it and make your lanyard passes....and you will be graded on it in Jan. LMAO God I crack myself up!

Hi All!! We are on the Magic right now doing the western. We just book this cruise, so we will be joining you! We are 8 in total in 3 state rooms!!!
Right now it is just my wife and I cruising, but in Oct 2009, we are taking our four kids and one bf and one gf.
This will be our 5th cruise on Disney.
In 5636 it is myself, Chris(44) and my wife Lori(38). We also have 6 kids in 2 cabins (5637 & 5639) ages 17,18, 19, 19, 20 & 22.

Welcome to the Disney Dreamers! Wow U have the oldest kids in our bunch! Teenagers....Thank goodness I have 5 yrs for the teens to hit. Hope ur having fun now but if ur on a Disney ship that goes without saying...Jealous over here that U have another cruise in Feb. Arrghh I haven't gone since then and I am going stir crazy!!

Welcome nokidz! I wish we were there with you right now! You will be right underneath my brother and his fam (thegreatcornoleo)next year, they are in 6636. Are all 6 kids yours? Man you guys went through a lot of teens in a short time period! I'll only be doing one at a time and it's more than enough!

No kidz how many of your teens are boys? Norma (2pirates&1princess) and I have teen sons who are debating on going, but thought that the disney cruise was going to be all little kids. This trip might be more appealing to them if they knew some teen boys ahead of time. My son isnt all that crazy about Disney (blasphemy...I know) but does like making new friends.

Beansf glad you had an amazing trip. Someday I would love to do ABD if I could afford it!!

Its not entirely unknown, sometimes at work I get bored finding webcams where the disney ships are and have to think of something else to do.

Castaway Cay definitely needs a webcam or maybe looking at it would be just too depressing on a cold damp day in Manchester.

Now that Graham and Chris (nokidz) are here, does that mean that I can tell my DH that it's not only us women who are crazy for Dis? He thinks I'm a nut job. He loves the whole vacation, he just doesn't "get" why I am spending my time a year out talking to "strangers" that are going to be on our vacation. I think that makes him the nut job doesn't it?
Norma and Robin (Disneydiva) I didn't know you guys had teen boys, or did I? I might be getting old...if you want them to come all you have to tell them is it's all you can eat and there'll be teen girls . How old are they? Of course if yours comes, Robin, you will have to get another stateroom or move up to a cat. 4. We opted for the 2 staterooms cuz it's less expensive than a cat. 4 and it's twice the space/bathrooms. And having 3 DD's we need the bathroom space!
Oh, I almost forgot to tell you guys...Riley had a friend stay the night on Sat. night and when her mom brought her over she came in and noticed our countdown chain, which struck up a conversation and now they are this close to booking the same week we are going. They have a DD who will be 9 at cruise time, I know I know another girl . But the boys were starting to catch up, so I had to do something. . The week we are going happens to be fall break for our schools here, and it's the only time the kids will be out of school that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, OK, it still cost an arm, but we get to keep our legs. I don't know if they will be joining the boards or not, but I will keep you posted. If Disney only knew how much business I brought them...

Well, I guess I'm all alone, again...I just thought I would post that it looks like we are leaning towards staying at the Residence Inn (I hope you weren't hoping to keep it a secret Laura? If so, oops) We will probably get either the 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom suite. I'm trying to decide if the extra bathroom is worth the extra $40. Right now, I'm thinking no, but the morning we are trying to get out of the room by 9:45 (6:45 our time) with 3 DD's I'm thinking it might be worth the extra money. Plus, an added bonus, that one has a hot tub on the patio. Not a bad way to start our vacation Has anyone booked their hotels yet? I know some of you have booked rental cars, but I wasn't sure if anyone booked hotels yet.
OK, well I will continue my conversation with myself later...

Well....not alone Andrea. Just sitting here veggin out and resting before tonight. My mom bought circus tickets for the girls and my dad is sick so I am going.

I have gotten my room at Comfort Inn & Suites. $99 total. 2 QB, q-sofabed. My sis' family and mine will squeeze together for one night. Not like anyone will sleep much, they will be so excited. Kinda like the disney commercial! Plus we will be up early, go for breakfast or just have donuts or something easy. Then off to port and there by ?? time to be determined. I haven't gotten my car yet cause I think I can get a good deal through budget and u can't make reservations with them till 330 days out. I tried Avis like Robin said but it wants to charge me $50 which isn't bad but I am hoping for better. I was gonna do a Limo for return to airport but I think I might do rental car and save $100. After Xmas I have to book Dolphin Encounter myself. I think first week in November I am gonna start printing door magnets. Wanna get most everything done by Easter. After that my DD has dance competition, her bday, summer days at cedar point, and then back to school,,, wow wish the time would fly as fast as I type it!!

Hey are we using this to ID our doors...I have read that the green ears are a DISer ID

Also saw this name tags and thought they would be cute to wear to ID us all on the first day!!

Does anyone have the blank template/logo for the nametag design? If not I think I might be able to alter it with one of my programs. Is that okay to do?
