Hey everyone. Sorry I've been away for awhile. It's been a little busy around here. Yes I know one or two pictures from DisneyWorld isn't going to cut it. I promise to get a link together for you all to go and check out the pictures. There are over 300 of them so I'm sure DIS wouldn't appreciate me just putting them all on here. As for how the trip was, it was wonderful. We had a blast. Our DD was celebrating her birthday there and so she got to wear one of those pins and she was sung to, wished happy birthday to and even had Mickey pixie dust thrown on her. She thought that was just cool. Her favorite rides were Splash Mountain, Mad Tea Cup Party and Test Track. What a hoot. So glad to know our daughter likes the fast rides like her parents. We have hot weather for the first few days but by Monday night it was pouring rain and that didn't let up the remainder of the time we were there. The rain didn't stop us and we still had a great time but I think we would have enjoyed it more if it wasn't so windy and raining. The rain would sting the face cause the wind was so strong. Anyway, one of the highlights of DD's trip was the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique experience. Definitely worth the initial price for the hair and makeup. They truly do make her feel like a princess and when she was done she just was georgous. We then took her to Epcot to the restaurant in Norway for her Princess Storybook dinner. That was wonderful. The food was amazing.

We never once dealt with any unhappy people and we even met some college girls who fell in love with our DD and we somehow managed to get on our bus with them back to our hotel (they were just one stop from ours). The girls gabbed all the way back. Too funny.

So hopefully that gives you a feel for our trip. We didn't do a journal like we usually do for these types of trips cause truthfully we never had the chance. By the time we'd come back to the room it'd be really late and all we could do was fall into bed.

Alright, so the today thing on Monday didn't happen. Life just was CRAZY. Today at lunch I will download the over 300 pictures to photobucket and then I'll put a link to them here for you all to enjoy. Maybe if I get my act together (won't happen at my lunch hour today) I'll take the time to put little blurbs about each picture on them. Thanks for your patience! Kristi

LisaG, I WISH! I'm suffering major park withdrawl. Our last visit was a year ago next month and because of financial reasons I have no idea when we will be going again . I was hoping we would be able to go to DL next month, but that's not going to happen. Have you ever been to MNSSHP? We went last year for the first time. You should go if you can!

We are going to MNSSHP this Friday. I think we've been 4 or 5 times before to it.

Are you going Mickey's Treat party at DCA this year? We went last year and had a good time. Though I think it is a little pricey for what you get since it is no where near as good as MNSSHP.

No, I don't think we will be going. It's about a 6 hour drive for us. I think we are going to "try" to do a late winter, early spring trip, but it will depend on our $$$ situation, seeing as how we still have an upcoming cruise to pay for

Hi everyone. Did you think I forgot you? I didn't. Believe it or not, I went to copy the pictures from my facebook account to photobucket and I remembered that facebook makes the pictures small when you copy them over. Everything was so tiny you wouldn't have gotten to really see the pics without your magnifying glass. Soooooo, I've gotta get them from home. Needless to say, we've been swamped. Go figure. One of these days it's going to be quiet on the home front and I'm just not going to know what to do.

Please bear with me. I truly haven't forgotten. I've got a couple of nights of overtime to do here at work this week and I'm going to try and get my husband to do what I need done with the pictures. That way you all can enjoy them.

I was reading the latest on our thread and I liked Disney Dreamers alot. It seems to me we all dream about Disney all the time. It would fit in a big way and not just for the adults. Alot could be done with that title too as far as a logo is concerned.

I say let's really think about using this name. All in favor say Aye!

Hey my family is going on the Oct 3rd 2009 cruise too. This will be our 3rd DCL and first to the western. I have to say never saw fish extender on my other cruises but think it's a great idea and would love to participate!! I 2 will buy now..lol I actually have 4 nights of mine and my girls( 9 and 5- at the cruise time) dinner outfits already bought. We go formal for a few nights and dressy for the rest. I like to make sure we match in color for photos so I shop early and the hubby is easy to do. =)

Welcome FortheloveofDCL!!!! Great to have you aboard . I am so glad I am not the only one who has already bought stuff for the cruise this early. I purchased some new dresses for my daughters too. It's never too early to go shopping!!!
I got my fish extender on ebay from a great girl named Tiffany. She has the best stuff!!! She also posts on the Dis boards. her ebay name is gradysmommy. She will do whatever you want.

Welcome FortheloveofDCL! We're thrilled to have you join our motley crew. I'm thrilled to see that others like to get things done early as well. I, however, haven't gotten my act together yet. If life doesn't slow down just a tad for me I may just scream I'm not going to complain. At least not much. I feel blessed by what is going on in my life.

Anyway, yes I know you haven't seen pictures yet. Believe me, I have that on my list of to do's. Overtime here at work went longer than expected. My husband is swamped as well so we're just running ragged right now.

It's looking to me like the name of our group will be Disney Dreamers. I love it! I'll start working on a logo idea (my BFF will need to help cause her creative mind is much better than mine). If anyone else has any ideas just shout them out.

Welcome to our group fortheloveofdcl! I have 3 girls going with us and our two youngest will be 10 and 5 at cruise time, so I'm sure we'll see a lot of you at the kids clubs. It will be our 3rd DC also, 2nd Western. If will be our first time participating in the FE also. Did you guys just book? What deck are you on? Glad to have you aboard!

Kristi--you know what might be cute for our logo? Have you seen that commercial where the ship kind of comes out of the clouds and it's the ship, but it's made out of a cloud? I just thought something like that would be cute 'cause of the "dreamers" part. But I'm open to anything.

I know I'm crazy, but we are actually considering looking into the Christmas sailing on the Magic in 2010. It sounds like it might be a 10 day. We have no business doing this, since we are really broke, but we've always wanted to go on a longer one and this one the kids wouldn't have to miss any school. We'll see? Anyone care to join us?
