Hi all! Happy Belated Father's Day to all you Dads out there! :) We had a busy weekend. Then I decided to have stomach issues yesterday. Yuck. :( Thankfully MUCH better today. While I was home yesterday, and after I slept til 1:30pm (mmmmm it was wonderful), I got a little productive. :) I ordered Katelin's formal dress and I ordered my FE gifts! :) YIPPPEEEEEE I feel like I've accomplished something HUGE! :) I've still got things to do BUT the largest obstacle for me is now taken care of. :)

As for the dine and play thing, very cool! We chose to do the late seating for dinner like we did the last time. We're anticipating having to feed Katelin something before then just cause she's not going to last that late. BUT, having the option of Lilli being picked up if we/she want(s) is awesome! :) We'll have to look into that when we're there. Hard to beleive only 12 more days (not counting today) and we can start booking excursions, Palo, etc. :) I'm so excited!!!! Not to mention, after today we'll be in the double digits instead of triple digits. :) Woo Hoo!

Well, that's all I got here. Will chat with ya'll later! Kristi

Hi All!!

My family - me, DH, and DD (9 - turning 10 on cruise) - will be cruising with Mickey on Oct 3rd too. We are so excited as this is our first cruise. We decided this would be a fun way to celebrate our daughter's 10th birthday. If there is still room, we would like to participate in the FE exchange. Our cabin assignment is 6582. :goodvibes

Welcome disneyjunkie99! We are also cruising with a DD - 9. There are alot of girls on this cruise. This is our 2nd cruise but first Disney cruise and are very excited too! There are a few veterans on this board that will show you the ropes...I'm still trying to take it all in. I know you can still join in the FE group and Michelle will tell you all about that.

How is everyone doing? I haven't posted in a while but I've been reading. Good luck to those of you that get to book Palo and excursions in a few weeks! Let us all know what you get. :thumbsup2

Talk to you all soon and have a good week.

Terri

Thanks for the warm welcome!!

I think we are just going to participate in the FE and not the SM. Our clan includes me (Tammy), DH (Drew) and DD (Reece). We have the late dinner seating.

There really are a lot of 9 and 10-year-old girls on this cruise. How exciting!

Hi all, Welcome disneyjunkie.

Ok have sorted the transport from the airport we will hire a car and return it at the port so I can do a bit of shopping before we get on the ship. Won't have that much time as we don't land till 5pm and by the time we get through customs. Am I better to shop before we arrive at the hotel still thinking about the Radisson or once we get to Canaveral. Hopefully should get there by 7pm if we go straight there.

I am going to try and post a picture but not sure if it will work. This is Ashleigh

:welcome: on board.

I just realised tomorrow it is time for our double digit dance. This cruise is definitely creeping up on us.

I was able to make my reservations on Saturday. I had the best intentions to get up at 5:00 am (midnight Eastern) to make my reservations. We had our summer barbecue the evening before and to my extreme surprise, I had such a good time that I did not get home until 2 am. I actually woke up at at 4:30 am, but thought it was a little early to get up and was sure that I would manage to stay awake. Well, I fell asleep again and woke up the next time at 6:00 am. I was never out of bed quite so quick. Fortunately I managed to get everything I wanted. I got High Tea at Palo on our first sea day, a 8:00 PM Palo dinner on the Grand Cayman day and the brunch at 11:30 on the second sea day. I ended up booking the Dolphin Push, Pull and Swim excursion at Cozumel (10:45) and the Parasailing at Castaway Cay (10:30). I also booked the Rasul for us on the second sea day. So I am happy. I just hope that none of this clashes with the Castaway Club Reception and the DVC Member Celebration.

I have a 8 day work week at the moment. Today was day 7, so one more day to go and then I have 4 days off. We are heading down south to stay with DH's sister. They life quite close to the cruise port so I am hoping to see a few ships. I know that the Norwegian Jade that we recently sailed on will be in port one of the days.

Hi Everyone,

This is our second Disney Cruise. We did the west coast Mexican one last summer.

I have my 6 year old grandson, 11 year old male and my nieces children--6 girl, 8--boy and 10-boy. We are doing a mini family reunion.

We are so excited to be returning to the Magic. My niece made really cool fe and the kids all loved looking for their surprises.

My reservation says main seating so I don't know what that means. Last time we had the early seating and it was good.

Has anyone booked their appointments yet? My paperwork says July 5th.

Last time a wonderful lady made some door signs for me that were the hit of the cruise. Does anyone have any to share?

Margaret, Welcome aboard. We have a web page with info on it(link is in my signature). I will had you to the group if you wanna partake in the FE. I just need some info. Room numbers and who all is in each room, names as well cause some people are doing personalized FE's. I see there is like 5 kids, assuming dispursed in a few different rooms. I just need that info so people can make sure to deliver appropriately. Main seating is early which is 5:45 now.

Well any other questions feel free to ask. Off to make breakfast. TTFN

Welcome to all of our new cruisers:flower3:. It has been a busy week. Got DS13 off to camp yesterday. Today is day 4 of VBS. Tomorrow DS10 has his first "mini-tournament" for all-stars. I don't think baseball is going to over for a while here.

Hope everyone is having a great week. Patrick is doing well watching what he eats. He has become very aware of what he eats and is trying to cut back on the carbs. Before he left yesterday, he and I had been walking for 30 minutes each evening. I know at camp he will get lots of exercise. When I spoke to him yesterday, after he arrived, he had just come in from playing volleyball. He called last night and said he swam for an hour or 2 as well. He is having lots of fun. I am so glad to hear that.

Payton is off to play at a friend's house after VBS today. He had another friend spend the night last night after church. His social calendar is staying busy as well.

Well, I've got to go and get ready. Hope everyone has a great Thursday. Only 100 days until the cruise. Tomorrow is double-digit day:cool1:. Lets hope the days go by quickly.

:woohoo: I finally found what I want to do for my FE gifts! What a relief! Now just making sure I have enough. I picked up extras but maybe I should go pick up more to be on the safe side. We're getting new people each day.:yay:

Hello Everyone!
Hope you all are doing well. We have decided now that we don't wanna miss out on the FE's. Can you put us done for it. Also can we get an updated list of all that are participating so we can start working on our goodies?? We really need to know if they are boys or girls! Can we get that?

I am so excited....my sister in law is about to be letting you know she is participating too.
:yay::yay:
Counting down the days!

Margaret..............I have added you to our web page, However what I need to know is obviously all the kids come from a bunch of different families. I need stateroom numbers and if those families are partaking in the FE.

Jennifer----as people come I update the list on our web page, so that is where u can go for it. It is everyone's responsibility to check it occasionally and keep updated. In about 3 weeks our cut off for the FE is, so after that the list should remain the same!

Hello Cruisers,

I would like to finally introduce my family to you all. I have spent the last month reading this thread from page 1 all the way to page 132:surfweb:, wow there is a lot of messages. It was nice to get to know all of you by going back to the beginning.

A little about us, it will be me-Jennifer (32), DH-Chad (34), DD1- Sarah (10), DD2- Lauren (6). We are adding to the 10 year olds girl click also :lmao: (crazy how many we have).

This our second cruise with Disney, we took our first in July08on the Wonder for a Double Dip 4 Day and celebrated our daughters birthday aboard. We will be travling with my family my Mom & Dad (Mimi & Papa) and my brothers Family (sister in law already on thread).

On our first cruise we decided to not do the Fish extender because it was our first go around with cruising, but this time we want to expierence it so we would like to be included in the FE. We are in Cabin 2614, (do ya'll come down that low;) ). We have late dining and no one has allergies. I think I covered everything :confused3. Can someone let me know about the lanyards and what we need to do? I can't seem to find the post right now.

Thanks for all the great info I have read to this point.

Jennifer

Jennifer----welcome aboard. I swear all you newbies has not let me get away today! LMAO Stop making me stay...LOL Thank you for all the info. BTW who is ur SIL? Umm as for the lanyard...the pic on our web page(link in my signature) has the pic on it. Everyone just needs to make a badge(backstage pass like) themselves and hang it from ur lanyard. Since I will be at the port EARLY...I am gonna plan on making a sign and taping it up so anyone who wants can get together and chit chat while we wait to board and then have an official meet onboard!
Also Jennifer(jcarlson) is your mom & dad doing the FE, if so I need some info from them as well! Thanks
Ok back to the pool...TTFN

WOW! Our group is rapidly growing!!!! Welcome to all you newbies! :) We're glad you're joining us. :)

Hope everyone is well. This is a short note tonight. Didn't get much sleep last night so hoping to catch up tonight. Talk to ya later. Kristi

PS: Oh, my dear friend CAN help tailor my formal dress!!!!! Thank goodness. :)
