SOOO Glad to hear that!!! You both have made MY DAY!!! DH keeps telling me the same thing.. WERE ON VACATION.. He keeps telling me to wear what I will be comfy in! DD Just wants to see Mom and Dad look HOT on our DATE night to Palo. Thanks Bunches Girls!!

I haven't been around much because I can't bear to think that much about the cruise. the anticipation is KILLING me!

I know there are several people who have similarly aged (like fine wine?) children going on the cruise and I thought maybe we could set up some kind of pen-pal/picture exchange thingy. You guys may have already done something like this but I honestly couldn't face reading 5000 pages of posts .

Anyhoo, I have two kids. DS6, Zachary. DD3, Tabitha.

I'm looking forward to sharing an amazing vacation with you all!!

Welcome back This is an awsome idea. I have a DS, Dominic, who is also 6! had his 1st day of 1st grade today, and it was I who had the melt down... Are you thinking through email or actual snail mail?? Anyone else want to do this?? Think it would be great or the kids knowing they have someone also to look forward to meeting along with the cruise itself!!

Well I think I pretty much have all the age groups covered LOL. My two oldest boys Travis and Lamont are 15, Kiah is 12, Shea is seven too! Robbie is 5, and last but not least is Quinn(girl) 3. I have signed them up for the clubs, hope they like them. Quinn is EXTREMELY shy, so I hope she won't be glued to my side the whole time. She is starting pre-school in Sept. so I hope this helps. Oh, she also cut the "snarls" out of her hair, so instead of long curly hair, she now looks like the dutch boy on the paint can, without bangs. I could have cried! Her hair was long enough in back (the part she didn't get to) for us to donate to Locks of Love. My kids don't know they are are cruising, so count me out on mail, but would love to get the kids together on the cruise.

I have 2 girls sailing, Sophia (5) and Lena (3). Lena will still be in Flounders since she is STILL not potty trained. But I plan to bring her to the clubs for events.

Sophia talks about the club all the time, She could stay there from sun-up to sun-down. She cries everytime we take her out for dinner!

How is the market in MD?

I'm in Florida ,and as a Realtor, we are up to our ears in homes for sale. I couldn't sell a house now if my life depended on it! Way too much inventory and prices went out of control last year.

Found a house near Columbus, OH. I live in a townhouse here in Baltimore. I live in an older townhouse and the average time on the market in my development is 2 weeks. I am hoping to sell for $225,000. The house in OH is a single family 2300sqft for like $171,000. I am an MRI tech so I can make a living whereever I go!!!

Wow, that's great. $171k for a 2300 sq ft home? In Orlando that would cost you about $350k. (Depending on location, but a newer home in a good neighborhood is about that price.)

I wore a dressy black dress to Palos the first time I cruised. And I found that people wore whatever. So, second time around I went casual. I am a jeans and tshirt kind of girl. Camden, however is a girly girl and we are in the "I only wear dresses" phase. lol. She is always chic. I would dress in whatever makes you feel comfortable. It's your vacation!

Since I brought it up, maybe I can set up some kind of kids newsletter type thing? If you guys pm me w/names, ages, addresses, I can send a snail mail letter w/all the pictures and names of the kids so the kids can see who they're going to be with. Then they can pick someone to write to.

There is a cruise kids Trick or Treat being set up. If you give your cabin #,Iwill add it to the list of cabins that want to participate. the current plan is to do it before the cruise's TOT. the cabins on the list are bringing candy on board to give to the kids.
