you have got to be kidding. i hope it is not as strong as katrina... my family is in mississippi. just glad my mom moved further north. she was 2 hrs from the coast during katrina and was out of power for over a week! she moved an hr north of were she was. keep my home state in your prayers!

I went to bed and it was aimed at Mississippi, I wake up and its headed towards Central Florida!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to all the new people. I had my DD baby shower today. I was soo busy getting that together. I didn't have time for nothing else. Well now that it's over I can get back to the boards. The baby is scheduled for Sept 26th as of now but that might change. I'm getting really excited. We haven't had a new baby in 9 years.
And to think I still have the cruise to look forward too. What a great year.

By the way, Who ever wanted to do the kids e-mail thing. Kennedy (DGD) is 9. I'm sure she would love to talk to someone. This is her third DCL cruise, So she can help tell the kids what fun they are going to have.

where did the weekend go??? jeez...no time for anything anymore! i'm getting nervous that i'm not going to have everything done and ready for the trip. i just booked our rental car...what a task that was! trying to figure out which way was the best way to do it...return car while on cruise? or keep it at the hotel?? ugh...decided it was basically the same price to keep it, so that is what we are doing.
we are not going to do the pin trading on the cruise. right now my kids aren't too interested in it, and i figure if they did get involved...that would be more money i'd have to spend!!
i'm trying to decide what to do...i want to do something special for dh as a surprise...it IS our 10 yr anniversary that we will celebrate, and right now i focus all my energy on making the trip to disney special for the kids. Since this is a trip to celebrate US, i need to do something for him! Any ideas??
As far as the kids pen pals go...my kids are:

lauryn 6yrs
nick 3yrs.

we should try to set up a chat some time soon. i'd love to get to know some of you better!

oh....forgot to say...
i'm ticked off!!! we just got an email from american airlines telling us our flight has had a schedule change! wth is up with that???
we are now leaving at 6:15 AM, instead of 6:30AM. thought maybe that would be ok since i THOUGHT we'd be arriving in orlando earlier....
i was wrong!!! not only do leave earlier...but now we get in an hour and a half LATER!!!
really bums me out!! they've changed our flight home too. and i'm not happy about that one either!

OK, I am going to try to be on here more often~! LOL! I had a WONDERFUL weekend WITHOUT children at a Marriage Retreat! I recommend it for ALL MARRIED COUPLES! We had a GREAT time being with OTHER married couples without their children! The only bummer? My hubby was called at 5:00 on Saturday to report to work at 8:00 am today for HURRICANE DUTY! I am wondering if they are still going to send them, since the projected path has changed from Mississippi to Florida!

NOW, gotta get ready and excited about this Disney cruise! YIPPEEE! I am so excited! I read something about kids emails? My kids are 5 and 7. They have emails. Is this still a go?
