Oct. 29th 2006 Halloween anyone?

Got our Palo ressy's done, the Lil guy sign'd up in the Ocaneer club. Now just the excursions. Does anyone know if Disney has their own Dolphin Swim or is it just at Nassau?? The kids and Dh all voted on this one. Also I'd rather be a bystander and just watch them so I can get pic's. Anyone know if I can just pay to observe??? >sigh< 75 days left... HOW EXCITING!! :) Thanks again Gal's!!

labmom, where did you find the link to sign up for the Oceaneer Club? I couldn't find it anywhere...thanks!

Wake,

I try'd to long back on to figure it out.. but it is telling me the site is TOO BUSY :( ... Ill keep trying to get back on there and ill let ya know..

THANKS! I really appreciate it. I thought I've looked everywhere. Can't seem to find the right page/link for it. Flounder's Reef was no problem, but Oceaneer's Club??

Labmom, We booked our dolphin swim directly with dolphin encounters in Nassau, several different options, observe, swim, or encounter. You can also book with Disney, but it's just the encounter. Not going this trip, it is pricy, but worth every penny in my opinion. Trust me they take lots of pic for you to buy, and also a video. We did the swim, I think it was about 165.00.(pp)

hi! I just got home and tryed to book the kids club and the site is down. Has it been down a while?

Hi there. Just found this site and am going on the cruise with DH, DS (10) and DD(8) on Oct 29. Seems like a lot of you have been sharing information for a while. I've picked up some good tips! We are doing the 7 day land/sea trip and it will be the kids first time at WDW or to cruise. Any suggestions on what not to miss?

Thanks.

I am doing the 7 day land and see also. Your kids are older so... The Dinosaur ride at animal kingdom is great. MGM rock and roller coaster and tower of terror. Epcot has the food and wine festival that time of year. And... Magic Kingdom has Mickeys not so scarey halloween party going on. You can get the Birnbaum guide to walt disney world. It's very informative. What hotel will you be at?

Don't worry about not getting your kids registered for the clubs right away. There is no limit of how many kids can go. (well, there is a limit of kids on the ship, but they assume any child on the ship will go into the club. You can even register them at the port.)

The only club to register for ASAP is Flounders because there is a limit of children and it fills up quickly. You can only register for up to 10 hours, then
once you get on the ship, you can register for more hours.

I am sorry for the bad spelling. I am a 2-finger typer.

We're considering doing the ToT w/ your group, but have a couple questions. Mainly, we don't want to have to stay in the room w/ the kids to pass out candy and have the kids miss out on going to all the other rooms. And, we don't want one of us adults to have to stay behind in the room to pass out candy and the other one take the kids around. We both want to be there for the memories, pics, etc. Are all of your kids old enough to do the ToTing on their own, or how are you going to work it out? Ours are only 2 and 3 years old. We'd love to be a part of the DIS ToT, if it'll work out (also don't want to 'sign up' w/ you guys and then be gone from the room when your kids show up!!) :confused3

Thanks, wake

could we set a time for each room so everyone is at that room at one time so everyone is not waiting around.. maybe do 10 min intervels? just a thought

We are staying at the Beach Club. Thanks for the suggestions. We already planned on the Not so scart Halloween party. It looks like a lot of fun. I was able to get on the Disney web site earlier today and made some reservations but was disappointed about the Palo brunch not being listed/available. Anyone with any information about that?

Thanks

I don't think they have the Palo brunch on the 4 night, only dinner. You will have a blast at MNSSHP. We have done this before, and wanted to this year, but it's not held on Sat. night before the cruise. We didn't want to take the kids out any longer than we already are. Have fun!

I called the number listed and the cm said they had a major power outage. She said they were working on it but had no idea when it would be up.
