Glad to see more people popping on here. Tink mentioned the residence inn... i think the majority of us have gotten a reservation there and we are all going to try and meet prior to the cruise that night. WELCOME... I am sooo ready for the cruise...

We are unsure yet when we will be getting in. Once we figure out that ill talk to DH about where we should stay. I think he was thinking The Residence Inn, cause we could use the free shuttle from there to the Ship. And also I think there was a rental car place in there or near there.. Ill have to ask him. Or do any of you guys know??

The Residence Inn does not have a free shuttle, but I think they have a transfer for a fee. The plus is that you get a free hot breakfast, and I believe that budget is close by. The suites look very nice, and the prices are very reasonable. With my crew of six kids the free breakfast is definately a BIG plus. Oh,labmom I see you are going to Spring Hill, I have a sister that lives there. (small world huh?)
Booked airfare last night, with the gas prices the way they are I got the tickets for 200.00 each. Will keep looking to see if they go down, and get the price difference refunded.
I am so ready to go!

Hi! Glad to see more people are joining us. I am guilty of not posting a lot lately. But we are definitly looking forward to the cruise. We are flying to Phoenix July 15 to surprise our grandsons about about the cruise and [gasp] Universal after the cruise. They have been to Disney every year for about 7 yrs and we thought we would try Universal. I am still a disneynut tho. Looking forward to meeting everyone at the Residence Inn. We are coming to fla by autotrain and to get my fix we are going to DTD before the cruise. Hope everyone is doing well. Rosemary

I've been neglecting you all. Sorry! Glad to see that you joined us Jill.
It is getting closer I can't wait for October. The baby is due, the cruise and super target opening right down the road. What can be better than that?

My July trip to see my son is coming soon. It will be good to see my family.

We still haven't decided where we are staying before the cruise. Jill there is a budget rental car place right htere. They will take you to the ship.

wow! where did our weekend go? I can't believe tomorrow is memorial day, and then we are back to normal! The days go by too fast...but i guess that is good as far as getting to our cruise quicker!
Did everyone have a good weekend? What did you all do? we had my aunt, uncle, and my mom and dad over here for a picnic...and the weather was actually nice!! We usually get hit with rain if we plan a picnic, so i was surprised. Tomorrow, we go to dh's side of the family for a picnic, and to celebrate his uncle's 50th bday....should be lots of fun!

Just putting us back on the front page It's going to be very busy weekend again for us. We have two of our girls in a dance recital on Sat., so extra dance rehersals tonight, tomorrow night and on Sat morning before the shows-- afternoon and evening. Whew I'll be glad for Sunday to roll around

I just saw your thread today and wanted to see if we can join your group. We are from St. Louis and it will be me, my DH, DS(6) and our friends who have never been on a Disney cruise before.

We are going on the 4th of July Disney Wonder cruise and last went on the Eastern (turned Western because of Hurricane Rita) 7-day cruise last September. We had a big group that got together as a result of the DIS boards. We called ourselves the Flip Flopping Castaways and had matching t-shirts and did shore excursions together. It was so much fun.

Looking forward to making some new friends.

Our family are Virgin's also. This will be our 1st cruise, and for someone, myself, who is never nervous about anything.. this 1st cruise thing is gettings its best of me. I truly feel so overwhelmed about the whole thing. But it is NOT putting a damper on how EXCITED I am to be going on one with my family!!

It really is nice to see more people joining us. I can't wait to see everyone.

I'm thinking about trying priceline for the night before. We just used it for orlando last weekend. We got the Residence inn suits for $45.00 a night. Memorial Day weekend. By the way the residence Inn is really nice. I'm thiniking it can't be bad no matter what for one night. I guess I got to think abiut it.
Steph, It will be me, DH, DS,(26) and his friend, DGD (9) MY girlfriend, Her DH, & DD(14).
