hi everyone!! hope you ladies are doing great! we've been busy here... ds just turned 8 on sat, and we've been trying to get ready for the holidays! what a pain...it takes so long to get decorations out, yet it only takes a second for a golden retriever to knock it all down!! well, actually he didn't knock it all down, but he did make a mess of the decorations!! oh well, after some pickup it looks ok again.
i've lost power here today...and they actually sent the kids home from school early cuz there is no heat at school...making for a very long day!! that gave me an xtra 4 kids this afternoon! thank goodness we are at over the hump day!! i love having a battery powered laptop during power outages!! otherwise, i'd be losing my mind right now!! oh that's right, i've already lost it!!
ok, well, i hope you guys are doing good....we should try to chat sometime!

Sorry I haven't talked lately. I been busy also with the season and finals. hope everyone gets their Christmas shopping done. Then we can start buying all the cruise clothes.

Hi Rosemary! Glad to see you are still here!! It's been a while...good luck on the finals! We are gonna try to get our shopping done on sunday...my mil is keeping the kids and me and dh have to boogy...i want it to be done! Can't believe how fast the holidays come...too fast....now if the time would only go like that til our cruise!! Of course, i'd want time to stand still once we walk into the atrium!!

Rosemary, good luck on your finals.
Sorry ladies been really busy with shopping and Kennedy's concerts. I'm trying to get everything done before my son comes. I'm going up to Pa. in January. My son bought a house. He has his closing on Dec. 15th. Oh well I guess he's not moving back to Florida. But I am glad for him.
I hope everyone has a good weekend. Can't wait to talk to you all. I have alot to tell you.

HI All! hope your Christmas was great. I couldn't believethe cruise is in 10 months >It is going Fast. The Tuesday before Christmas I wrecked my car by rear-ending someone. It was my fault but no one was hurt. My car is not totaled but it looks like it. I won't have it til the end of february to drive. I have to cut into the vacation fund to pay for it. hopefully we can make up the cash. When is the next chat-Take care, I have two Christmas parties at my houe -Sat/Sun Sure hope to talk soon.

I sure hope you all had a nice Christmas. Mine was wonderful. My son was down for the holiday. he left yesterday. One of their suitcase with the gifts was lost but hopefully they'll find it.

Hi! Just wanted to say hello. We'll be cruising with you. Myself, 37, DH 39, DS6, and DD3. Also coming is nephew10, neice8. Not to mention grandma, uncle, aunt, great aunt!

this is my second cruise, my first on disney and we are currently saving for a deposit to put down on the following year's vacation. We figure if we really enjoy the 4 day, we'll have the deposit ready for booking a 7 night for the next fall. We don't have a lot of money and since we think family vacations are a priority, we have to plan over a year in advance!

With young kids, I can't think of a better vacation! Can't wait to meet you all.

HI jeast!!! I'm glad you found us!! We've all been chatting for quite a while. Is that the ages you will all be on the cruise, or is it current ages? My kids will be ds-8; dd-6; ds-3. Dh and i will both be 32. My parents are coming with us too. We went on our first disney cruise in jan 05, and it is the BEST!! They are so much fun for everyone!! We didn't take advantage of the onboard booking for this one, but like you, we are saving our money now...hopefully for a 7 day cruise in feb of 2008. We like to vacation on offpeak season...but with the kids in school, it's getting harder to do that. Not sure what the rates will be for a cruise over president's weekend, but we'll see.
Well, hope we see you around here...we try to chat on yahoo messenger every now and then...it's been a while since we have though...all too busy!! Talk with you soon!!

we're glad to have you along. My dgd is 8 she'll be 9 by the cruise. This will be our third disney cruise. They are the best thing I've ever done. You and I both need to keep watching for florida resident rates to come out.
I too hope to save enough money to put down on my next 7 day. It's really hard to save though. But I need to have one planned at all time or I'll have withdraw. It's bad enough coming home after the cruise. Don't know what I'd do if I didn't have another planned.
Shannon, No! My son didn't get his suitcase back yet. Still hopeing. I see you're going to meet Stephannie. that will be so cool.

Hello to all of you!
I have enjoyed reading all of the posts you have written. We will be joining you on the Halloween 2006 cruise. This will be our second Disney Cruise. We are going to try Land & Sea this time. Our first cruise was in August 2004 on the Magic. Our seven night cruise turned into Disney's first ten night cruise with help from Hurricane Francis. Captain Tom kept us far from the storms and we had a terrific time all ten days!
Has anyone ever been to the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party? We are hoping to go the that before the boat sets sail.
