Hello,
So this is my very first pre-trip report so I am not too sure if I'm doing it right. lol.
I'm SO excited because I will be there on my 25th birthday and will be getting the birthday fun card!!!! My 25th birthday is a BIG DEAL to me as I am disabled, in a wheelchair and have Cerebral Palsy. It is a BIG DEAL because I don't really want to be turning 25. I still live with my parents because personal care assistance is so VERY expensive and the only program they offer in Florida I've been on the wait list for since 2002. I am desperately trying to see what is out there and trying to go down every avenue I can and it is EXTREMELY frustrating. I do have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education but I just always feel like I'm behind people my age as far as society goes. So my Mom comes comes to me and says we need to celebrate your birthday at you favorite place. I was just thrilled and this was all just about 3-4 weeks ago.
Right now,we are staying at Contemporary's Bay Lake Towers. We are hoping one of the Garden Wing rooms open up at the Contemporary to save a bit of money but we heard that the Bay Lake Towers are beautiful. The Contemporary Resort is my favorite resort so we had to stay there for my birthday! hehe.
Oct. 24th Sat.-We plan to arrive about 11 AM and rest for a few fours at the hotel and leave for Epcot about 2 PM or so. Ride Soarin, enjoy food and wine festival, the big golf ball(hehe I know Spaceship Earth, is that the thing that the Bill Nye ride is in), maybe the 360 degree movies and Honey I Shrunk the Audience. Maybe stay for the fireworks, will see what we feel like, I am very flexible and don't want want to do too much.
Oct. 25th Sun- DTD in the morning and MNSSHP that night! I plan to decide what I want with my Birthday Gift Card at Tren-D an come back on the 27th to go buy it. Have lunch and Wolfgang's Express and desert at Garidelli's Ice Cream Shop then take a nice long break at hotel before MNSSHP.
MNSSHP- Have dinner ressies at 5:50 at the Plaza. So excited always wanted to try this place. Then go and enjoy the PARTY! Get pics with a couple of characters and RIDE RIDES see the Hallowishes show and probably the parade!
Oct.26th-BIRTHDAY!
Go to Epcot in the morning and get my Birthday Fun Card!!! Ride Soarin again as it is my FAVORITE ride and get a Soarin t-shirt if they have it. They were out our last trip. Just do whatever we want there, will probably only stay a few hours.
Then, take a break at the hotel. Go to MK Crystal Palace for late lunch.
Then, go back to hotel to take a nice break.
Then go back to MK at night for Birthday EMH at my FAVORITE park!!!! hehe See Wishes, rides at just have a blast!!!
Oct 27th-Day of Departure, sad day...
Check out and go back to DTD to pick up and buy the stuff at Tren-D that I want and head home....
