OK, I created a FB page for us and I made the Group closed so you will have to be a member of the Group to see the posts. I just named the group "Dreamin' Away on 10/20/2011" if anyone wants to join.

Ok so I found out what the problem was with my son geting into the FB group instead of me. My daughter helped me and I have now sent another request to join the group and have taken him off the group (I hope). He uses my computer and I forget that he frequently does not log out when he gets off. I don't either but it is my computer and I don't feel that I should have to.
Well anyway hopefully this will now fix the problem. If not I geuss I will just stay on the boards and forget facebook.

Just joining in for the first time. My DW and I will be on this cruise celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. It will be our first Disney cruise without our kids! We will be on a Disney cruise 6/12/2011 with the kids. It will be very interesting cruising without them while watching other families. I hope we will not miss them too much on this cruise.

Hi and welcome aboard. I.am sure you will have a great anniversary. You will really enjoy the cruise without the kids. My wife and i did that very thing 18 months ago. What a great relaxing time we had. This cruise we are bringing the kids and a bunch of family with us. 13 total. We are also sailing without the kids on the fantasy maiden voyage. If your interested we do have an Fe up and running with a total of 9 cabins in it. Just check out post number 2 I think to sign up.

F.E is short for fish extended. What the f,e is is a gift exchange it does not have to be anything big. Candy a little bottle of booze. Something unique from your state. Home made or store bought. If you do a search of the main board you will see a long explanation of what it is and also get some ideas. This is going to be our first time in it, and we are looking forward to the fun.

Hi! My DH Joe and I will be joining you on the Dream. This will be our fourth Disney cruise. We had originally scheduled this for February, but now I'm glad that we had to reschedule, as we still are able to look forward to seeing the Dream for the first time.
We have one other cruise ending a couple weeks before this one, so I guess I will be on a diet all of November!

Glad to have you with us. We have not been real active on this post and we are also on facebook. We are myself Magie, DD Michelle, her partner Chris and my 2 DGD Bethanie 17 and Caitlin 12. This will be my 5th Disney cruise. We will be gold castaway members at the end of it. Looking forward to meeting everyone in Oct.

Is there a list of the families on this thread, where everyone is located and ages of the kids? I am looking to hookup our DS 14 1/2 with another boy his age. I thought that would make things fun.

Hi piper and welcome aboard. we look forward to meeting you. I don't know if there is a list of kids on here anywhere. I hope this thread starts moving again. as you saw we where stalled out. well as far as 14 year old boys go i am not sure. We have our son coming and he is 21, my daughter's will be 13 and 9. we do have an f/e up and running if you are interested so far we have 10 cabins participating. If you are interested in joining the f/e post number 2 has all the info as to how to join. I just noticed you are from Minneapolis. My wife's twin sister and her family live out there as well and they will be with us on this cruise.

That's a bummer. There seems to be a few changes on the reservation system. I have a 90 day booking window but could not book our excursion with my brother who has a 75 day booking window. So now I have to hope there's still reservations available for him. This is crazy as it seemsto to be a disincentive for people to invite their non-DCL family since they'll be unable to book excursions with them.

My daughter Laci 7 and I will be on the Dream October 20th. We also sent a request to the FB page.. We are still undecided on the FE exchange since I am not very creative with gift ideas!!!!! Will get on here more often to keep in touch and hope to meet some of you!!!!
