My stateroom category is 06A, but I havent had a room number yet.

If I want to join you guy, is that I have to prepare some gifts and a fish extender together? hehe~

Welcome Andrew! Congrats on the wedding. I believe cut-off for the Fish extender is 9/5 so you are welcome to join.

Welcome Andrew. It sounds like you are wondering about the Fish Extender. It is like a secret santa where you give gifts to other people and they in turn give gifts to you. The actual fish extender is the container to put gifts in that you hang outside your stateroom. It can be as simple a bag (I think i read somewhere that someone even used a plastic grocery bag) or it can be as elaborate as you wish. Ours was made by Jen at StitchnBows while my sister-in-law is using a cloth bag from a craft store. It is up to you.

The gifts can also be whatever you want. We are doing something simple for this cruise, but something more elaborate for the next cruise we are going on in March 2011. There are many threads about FE gifts you can look at to get ideas.

If you wish to join the FE, email me with your information at OctoberDreamers20th@gmail.com. Once you get your room number, email me again and I will change it on the sheet.

You can still be apart of this meet thread even if you decide not to do the FE. Not everyone here is doing it. We look forward to meeting you on the cruise.

Ok everyone F/E update. WE have 16 cabins participating. I have emailed the list to all of those that i have email addresses for. Please check your spam folder in case it came threw to there. Hello, Fellow Cruisers! This is my very first post!

We have been on several cruises, but our now-21 year old son (SplashMountainManiac) has always done the on-line communicating. We scheduled this trip for Mike's fall break, but he now has to go to Prague with his grad school cohort. My DH (Paul) and I (Joan) weren't going to go on the cruise without Mike (none of us have been on the Dream yet and we've always cruised together), but as our son pointed out, he'll be in Paris (a side trip) while we are in Nassau. Guilt trip averted!

We are really looking forward to sailing with all of you on the shiny new ship!

And a special hello to all of you Michiganders. We moved from Grand Rapids to Orlando in 2002. Just tried to watch the Lions today, but the game was blocked.
