Oh my goodness, Julie. I could just cry for them. I feel so bad for Denine and Jerry. Sending prayers and pixie dust their way that Jerry finds a job soon. I don't know if she lurks but hang in there.

Julie, your lunch sounded like fun. Taking back cotton candy to jury duty is hilarious.

Hi everyone. Still coughing alot but finally feeling much better. Heidi, I have bronchitis and a sinus infection. The word TIME was used multiple times when talking about getting better.

Denine/Jerry - so, so sorry to hear the news. I hope the severence package is good and can hold you til I know so many people without a job and I feel so bad. LOTS of HUGS to you guys!!

Heidi - I hope you don't stay sick as long as I have. I wish this on no one.

Today is my little boy's 17th birthday! He is older now than Paul was when we started dating! We are heading to Maryland/DC for a hockey scouting event. He'll play in a few games and be evaluated by coaches and scouts from all over. We have another one to go to in June in the Nashville area.

Turner's high school hockey team is playing in the championship game tomorrow evening. They had a playoff game yesterday and it was awesome!

Again, sengins lots of to Jerry and Denine.

Today is my little boy's 17th birthday! He is older now than Paul was when we started dating!

First off WOW, Turner is 17. Suppose he won't ride that wooden horse at Whispering Canyon anymore. And WOW. WOW, WOW. You and Paul were youmg when you started dating. Cool!

What did I get myself into? Am I crazy? I'm babysitting Heidi's dogs and took my brother's dog in for today. Yikes.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TURNER!!! I can't believe he is 17!!! WOW it seems like yesterday we were in whispering canyon together throwing sugar packets and straws!!!

I hope everyone has a wonderful day! We are finally getting nice NON RAIN weather!!!

Jury duty is now over. It wasn't so bad, AFTER the first day!!! I did get called for a "jury sitting" but they filled the jury seats before they got to me.

We did see Jerry and Denine last night. We didn't go out to eat, they came over and we just had wine and pizza. It was a nice time.

Well, gotta run! I hope everyone has a nice holiday weekend.

Thanks for the birthday wishes Julie! Had a great birthday that was filled with a lot of laughter. This morning it was extremely windy. We ended up leaving the campground early because the wind was so bad. We didn't get very much sleep and it was freaking my puppy out. We packed up and got out before barely anyone was awake. My dad was nice enough to help us pack up the trailer and we woke my mom up (oops, sorry mom) and she saw us off.

Susan - Happy belated birthday to Turner, I hope he had a great day. Glad you are feeling a little better but I hope this weekend you were able to rest more. I still have my cough but thats it.

Julie - Glad you had a nice time with Denine and Jerry, I am sure they needed some time away from the stress. Hopefully she will start posting again. Glad jury duty is over for you!

Wind, wind and more wind today. Ted got our evaporative cooler up and running for the season. I was afraid the wind would take him right off the roof!!

I am going to join Slimgenics probably next week. I am not motivated by WW. I need to check in privately with counselors.

Feeling a little better. Got some stronger medicine to help me sleep at night and another inhaler.

Unfortunately, our A/C is acting up and it has been in the upper 90s with high humidity. I am working from home today waiting on the A/C guy to show up. It is 8:55am and it is 87 in my house already! YUCK

Sandy, glad Ted didn't blow away on the roof. Good Luck with Slimgenics!

YAY!!! Heidi can post from work again! Wish I could. Only when I am working from home and have a little time to log onto my home laptop (like now).

Julie, glad you survived jury duty!

Julie, are you kiddding me????? Ironman, ummmm NO. This fat old body couldn't take it, LOL.

Susan, I hope your AC gets up and working SOON!! I couldn't take the heat, high humidity and being sick all in one.

Going to over to some friends house for dinner tonight. I feel guilty that I didn't make anything. Maybe I will take over some fresh rhubarb. I'm having a bumper crop this year.

Heidi, I'm kind of excited over the PJ's I bought the girls.

It seems that one of the storms must have caused the heat strip to come on even though we had the A/C on. So the heat was fighting the cold and no one in the house was winning. Well, today we win!! sort of... Got it fixed and it is starting to cool down. Unfortunately, they said to expect an extremely high electric bill. I'm afraid to even think how much that will be.

The new inhaler is helper and with the house getting cooler, cough meds coming soon and then off to lullaby land!!

Mom - The girls have to be home by Saturday morning so they will not be going down to the campground this weekend. You might want to call Chris and meet up with him today to drop off their birthday presents before you leave for the campground. I am in training all day at work today so it will be tough to get a hold of me.
